Y'know i did not expect a server nuke from those buildcraft pipes, even if I'm painfully aware of how laggy they can get, but a theoretically limitless overclock on their throughput would absolutely do that. I'm giving this another two episodes at MOST before this world is functionally unplayable due to either frequent recurring corruption or frame rate limitations but good lord they will be glorious episodes.

even unoverclocked i remember killing servers several times with pipes. too many entities server wide causing mass lag, too many entities in a single base making some chunks un-enterable, a quaryy trying to pipe into a full chest just dropping thousands upon thousands of entities onto the floor... the list goes on.

Just discovered your channel recently and binged basically all of your videos. If you are still willing to take suggestions for video games to checkout, some non-minecraft sandbox/freeform games I think are good and which have a lot of different mechanics to experiment with are Craft the World and Don't Starve. An oddball suggestion I also have is The Sims, while I am only really familiar with The Sims 3, from what I understand the series actually has a lot of really complex and interwoven mechanics under the hood. A good example of this is the Trifecta of Cooking, Gardening, and Fishing, in the base game of Sims 3 the main purpose of cooking is making better meals to make your Sim happier, and having high quality and rarer ingredients makes these meals even better, which is were Gardening and Fishing comes in. Fishing has a mechanic where you can fish with bait to improve the number and quality of your fish, while making it easier to catch rarer fish if you use their preferred bait, while Gardening lets you use fish and vegetables as fertilizer to speed up the growth of your plants and improve their produce. These two mechanics are supposed to feed into each other, as fruits and vegetables you can grow in your garden are the best bait for many kinds of fish, while fish that don't sell for very much money usually have the benefit of being very good early-game fertilizer for gardening.

Hello, if i understand what you mean by "subnet access", yes AE1 does in fact allow this. And it is very easy, With ME chests, just slap an interface on it and cable the interface to the system you want to access it from. Connecting full systems is slightly more annoying...in that you slap an interface on the system, then have a storage bus looking at that interface cabled to the accessing system. But yes for single item types 2 storage busses on a DSU works fine. Also power, if we are abusing glitches theres the infinite energy cube glitch where you have 2 energy cubes (basics work) feeding into each other, one using universal cable/energy conduit, the other using copper wire. Have 2 cubes one behind the other, the one at the back should use the copper wire, have the wire run into all sides of the cube in front, then just connect the front cubes output to the back cube using universal cable/energy conduit and the power generates itself Ofc basic cubes dont have the power output to manage a massive amount...but ultimates are pretty good...and its literally free

Ah, good-ol' weaponized jank. "It isn't _supposed_ to do that, but it's very useful that it does so we're going to abuse the everloving hell out of it" is the common mantra of this modpack, it seems. And it happens that removing Minechem would fix a good chunk of all of these exploits... come to think of it why did they even add the mod in the first place if it's so brazenly incompatible with half of the other mods in the pack to the point of it being laughably easy to get free infinite diamonds?
