I was able to prove, for myself at least that consumption of Canola Oil Margerine triggers heart palpitations fairly directly. For what that is worth.

My husband suffered from indigestion after eating for 1 year. He had convinced himself it was a hiatus hernia and did not consult a doctor. He died suddenly last year from a heart attack aged 57 years. Post-mortem found he was fully blocked in the heart with calcification of cholesterol. The dr he was under never asked about family history nor did any heart checks. So let down by his dr.

Love this video, it helped lots, it’s what I’ve been suffering too, yes please for more information on how to heal this palpitations, I eat fairly healthy, but lately I’ve been craving more sugar foods and I know it’s not good, but I’d be happy to stop eating that stuff if it settles it.😊

You just described my life in 8 minutes. I’ve been aware of this constellation of symptoms for many years as my dad experienced it as well. I never knew it had an actual name thought. When you said Vegas nerve I said “bingo”. I describe my versus nerve as my bodies superhighway that’s always on the alert. Understanding and experience with the symptoms has helped lessen the anxiety around them. But it can still be pretty unnerving.

I have every single symptom you have mentioned in the video. I was very stressed that I'm probably suffering from some cardiovascular issue. Thankfully I found this video!

I’ve had heart palpitations on and off all my life. I’ve always been treated like a hypochondriac when it comes to this. Tests never revealed anything. At 75 I’ve finally been told I have tachycardia. After listening to this and looking up more information I see the connection with the vagus nerve. This has never been mentioned to me. Since my palpitations have become so powerful over the last few years I’ve had to live with the anxiety. There’s been a couple of times I’ve called an ambulance. I live alone. I’ve begun some techniques I found online that seem to be sound and helpful. I can’t believe that no doctor has taken the time or had the expertise to handle this. Thank you so much.

Also wooziness accompanies it sometimes...I kept track of when I got these symptoms and realised it happens when my tummy is off for some reason. That was more than 30 years ago and so I just pop an antacid or soda and wait it out

I don't know where to start here, but I am on beta blockers for what my consultant thinks is angina,I have long covid and fibromyalgia but started getting palpitations three years ago ,I caught covid in 2020. I really believe that my problem is definitely my gut.. I have colonoscopy every three years but I'm over a year overdue this time. Thank you for this.🙏🏼

Thankyou so much!! I fell and I've had stiff back and especially neck pain, i have a sliding hernia and symptoms eased after diet changes, weight loss etc but have got worse again after I fell, i realise now the palpitations in my stomach, anxiety and short breath, also unable to sing higher notes anymore lol, will all possibly be connected to my hernia with my neck and back problem. Found your videos so helpful and reassuring knowing reasons for symptoms and ways to resolve them, bless you and thankyou again! 🙏🙏

Absolutely agree with you 100% ! Majority of idiopathic palpitations ar attributable to hiatal area '( hernia ) imperfections' . I speak from personal experience as I was diagnosed with a small 3mm sliding hiatal hernia following episodes of idioptahic palpitation's.

This is great information. The only reason I'm not doing the Root Cause Clinic program now is the cost. I did an intital consult a few years ago and was told that they could get the fee down to $1000 for limited treatment. That us more than some of us can afford.

Very informative thank you. My palpitations started after my heart attack and stent. However prior to my cardiac episode I was being treated for hiatus hernia, and helicobactor pylori. This all makes perfect sense. What doesn't make sense, is all the pills I was put on. That's disgusting

I wish I had found this video when I was in the throes of this for YEARS!!! Now that I am focused on my gut, the palps are so much better, but I can’t tell you how many medical professionals have absolutely no idea that this is the reason! Not even my acupuncturist or naturopath knew this!! I can’t remember where I heard this, but probably from a Dr. Gupta video. Thank you!!!!!

Thank you so much for sharing Dr. I have this. I had an ablation ( was having AFIB every night after dinner). It did help but not enough to where I was able to stop my heart medication. I sure would love to get off these meds. Can you please share what to do about this? God bless you. Appreciate your help. It would be amazing to eliminate my heart medication. Propafenone and metropolol

I told my cardiologist that majority of my AFib happens at night after meals and in bed that’s relieved after burping off stomach gas through the mouth; my heart rate during these AFib episodes ranges 60 - 80 bpm. I was then diagnosed with paroxysmal vagal AFib. I identified my triggers: bloating, alcohol, and reactions to stress. Ablation or cardioversion are contraindicated due bleeding issues. On Diltiazem for rate control, implanted Watchman to cover the left atrial appendage where 90% of clots form, daily baby aspirin and embraced lifestyle changes. The latter includes control and stabilization of weight, blood pressure and blood sugar level; eating unhurried small portions frequently; daily exercise mostly walking 3.5 miles 4-6 days a week; get enough sleep and afternoon naps. Frequency and duration of AFib episodes have significantly decreased over 90 days which was communicated to my cardiac and EP team. Next actions are Holter monitor and subsequent discussion on antiarrhythmics.

Thank you from Medellín, Colombia. My spouse has been without a diagnosis for the last couple of years despite having seen a slew of doctors. A couple of weeks ago the very well-trained, and caring, cardiologist gave her heart a clean bill of health. Hooray! But now what? She still has tachycardia and various intestinal issues. You’re the first to connect the dots formally. Thanks again. We’ll pursue this line of analysis vigorously.

It's crazy that this syndrome is becoming more popular. I recall first hearing and reading about it back in 2018 when I was searching for answers due to my cardio and electrophysiologist failed to give me answers. One said I needed heart medication for the rest of my life and the electrophysiologists said my heart was perfectly fine. So I went down the rabbit hole to find a cause and solution. Then I really started to pay attention to my body and noticed that certain foods would either positively or negatively affect my palpitations, breathlessness. Long story short, I've always had GERD, heartburn and stomach issues...I even had H.pylori at one point. Never was I told my hear issues were related but it all made sense when I found this out for myself. Good channel and very insightful.

Blessing too you... I very seldom get it in the day time, It is at Night unfortunately. I had surgery polp, end up with a stoma 202 September, then reverse surgery 2023 July 2023. Thank God so far my system works, yet BM does what it want little constipated, then I questioning it but i make 1-2 BM. I do have blood pressure... I am trying to go natural to eat right. Yet a sometime I will beng, and will suffer for a couple of days then try to eat right. But i noted i cannot eat after 7:00 pm light fruit. Yet i am 69, I am being more cautious. Because

This has been my experience with AF for which I was put on a beta blocker 15 years ago. I was told I would definitely need an ablation within 5 years. The beta blocker did help but with experience iv come to recognise that the AF runs were only occurring along with indigestion, heartburn or bloating. Drs think I’m crazy when I tell them but it’s absolutely correct. I’ve not needed an ablation, I just have to be careful what I eat 😂

It is sad that we dwell in a medical world that, as a general practice, isolates each system of the body as if they are separate. The human body is a unit, and as such each "system" functions in tandem and in concert with every other system. It totally makes sense that problems with the stomach can affect the heart.

I wonder how many women with post partum or schizho or other mentally ill people in general, have Roemheld Syndrome and are not being treated holistically to actually heal. Oh, and what about folks with no appendix? They don't get the benefits of the appendix dumping probiotics into their large intestines and colon. I'm sure they've been ignored or have learned to deal with it.

I’ve gone through this too. Sounds like my whole life story. I have an extra large hiatal hernia. I feel like death most days. I have reoccurring bronchitis and now pneumonia and am on my 3rd antibiotic. Getting a bunch of tests in September. I only hope and pray I get some relief soon. I bloat badly, brain fog, my voice is hoarse, every time I eat I have to cough up a bunch, if I talk to much I go into a coughing smell and sometimes can’t catch breath, I have zero energy, I have to miss a lot of work, no quality of life, it’s misery honestly and it shows on my face.
