What my wife and I did was we have a light breakfast and around 1:00pm we switched to our Dinner, aka, Supper meal and about 5:30 pm we have a light lunch meal so we don't go to be after heavy eating. We switched lunch with dinner so our big meal is at noon time. Neither of us work and I am retired so we can do that.

I was able to prove, for myself at least that consumption of Canola Oil Margerine triggers heart palpitations fairly directly. For what that is worth.

Very informative. I've followed your videos due to my acid reflux and, I suspect, hlatial hernia. By the way, the body mike you've worn recently sure makes a difference. It's kind of a pet peeve of mine when KZbinrs sound like they're speaking from the other end of a barn. 😊❤❤

Great video! I just learned of the vagal nerve connection to A fib, and. found I was already doing the breathing exercise having noted that it helped my A fib symptoms. I had just figured that much out on my own and now find it is a suggested strategy ! I am now experimenting with changes in my diet like eating fewer low carbs. I have not gone Keto but wonder about that too. So far I have not heard a physicians advocate that

Will chiropractics help reset the vagus nerve?

Can symptoms of hiatal hernia syndrome (pressure on the lower esophagus) also occur when sitting or lying on your back? I am 65 with a BMI of 23. I eat low carb and make my own kefir. I work out (resistance training) 2-3 times/week for 1.5 hours and am in great shape. I have been dealing with ectopic heart beats for about 2 months. It sometimes keeps me awake and near panic. But, I can hike up steep slopes, and push myself in the gym with no issues (sometimes I have postural hypotension). My resting HR is ~46 bpm and my BP is usually around 110/70. I have had all the tests, my coronary calcium score was 7, ECG/EKG, sonogram, and 48 hour Holter. I will be seeing a cardiologist just to verify that I am not on death's doorstep. It seems that the vagus nerve is getting more attention. I need to learn more. Thank you for your work!

Basics: belly breathing or box breathing(inhale and exhale looked up KZbin videos). This will calm your vagus nerve down, Gargle with salt water. It’s the gargling movement. Using a tens unit to stimulate the vagus nerve. Humming is a very good also. From me: check out videos from STOP CHASING PAIN with more great exercises. 😊

so strengthening vagal tone through exercises will eliminate the hernia and your stomach will pop back into the place where it belongs?

can you please let me know what is the connection between the sliding hiatus hernia, and the Vagus nerve? I have a sliding hiatus and recently I have had numbness in my arms and feet and my blood pressure is too low I was not like this before and never had low blood pressure!!! All the symptoms of a sliding hiatus hernia I have them daily. All of the hiatus hernia and low blood pressure and numbness started together last December. My blood tests all are fine and my Brain and spine on MRI are good. All we found on endoscopy was a sliding hiatus hernia but they kept saying not too big to do surgery and had no explanation for numbness from neurology after too Many tests. I had a gastric bypass in 2020 and all these symptoms started last December only. Last month we found the hiatus hernia

50 isn’t low if you’re a trained athlete. Some well-condition folks can be in the 40s. It may be low for someone who never moves though.
