Nice! Let that clutch out slower when you are up shifting to make it smoother. Also ease into the throttle instead of chopping at it when getting back on the gas after a shift,

FYI the Female biker community is MUCH larger than you might think especially in Florida, California, and other states like Ohio, and even here in Nebraska. GREAT to see another one of ya'll enjoying 2 wheels! YES the majority of riders are still male, but it's always a blast to see a woman enjoying her ride. Cheers!

I love kids so much. I have 3 grown children of my own, 24,21,21 and my sister is a pre-school teacher with a Masters in Elementary Education and another Masters in Clinical Child Psychology so I get all sorts of adorable ideas and exposure to the lil' precious souls. I'm a 6'1" 220lb dark haired kinda burly guy, that MELTS around kids it's hilarious my cuteness aggression I really have to keep in check lol . This video was a fun one. Blessings!

Truly awesome to see more people getting into riding love mine the mods are endless waiting on parts right now
@kennywheelus6857Ай бұрын
Oh the other thing is , people will hate but until they have been on one,they have no clue how fun these really are,your bike does look good,are gonna do any mods on your bike to personaliz it to your own,I suggest if thats on a flicky light tail light that blinks some white in your tail light when stopped at a red light so other drivers have a bit more visibility of you,also wear you a reflective coat,if you wear a backpack same thing with something reflective on it,just some tips if that helps,glad you was wearing your helmet an gloves,a face shield on a helmet helps protect your eyes an the newer ones have a built in flip down sun screen on bright days,I remember having to save up an piece my gear together when I started riding,so now in fixing to upgrade my helmet as well with a com an figure out how to mount my gooro as well but if your like me an like music,you'll want a helmet that you can Bluetooth to your phone an also what about a phone mount holder for your phone,you'll definitely want one of those so your phone doesn't slip an fall off or out of your pocket,well anyway good luck, hopefully you got some friends that ride to go on Grom adventures with.

I said before, its not. The wheels are too small, its a dangerous bike to learn on as it doesnt stop well & doesnt take bumps well - with inexperience you can easily get killed. I had a gf of mine-her husband bought her motorcycle on her bday-she lost control of it on the way home-died in his arms as he was following her in his car home. Groms dont stop well or take bumps or turns well. Just saying cause you asked. A honda 230 cc or 300 is a better starter bike imo

not everybody can ride just any bike most bike are too tall for 32'' inseam you would most likely shame E bikes to to witch I use a Ebike everyday for commuting 20x3 inch tires and I am getting a grom this spring for commuting and back road and dirt road riding

For the very hot days I would figure ahead of time a better way to get to a Rd that you could go faster so it would be better because of the wind... Being on Rd that you can't go no more than 20 and your stopping a lot and temperature over a 100 and with the humidity.. 😢😢
@TheRedrider244 ай бұрын
Stay on whatever you feel safe and comfy on, im 6'2, 215 lbs and i love my grom, some folks suggest a bigger bike, but bigger they are faster you go and less time you have to make a correction, i grew up riding dirtbikes from a 70 to a 500, and im more comfortable on the grom
@everythingisIAM4 ай бұрын
the grom doesnt absorb pot holes or bumps well at all like the bigger tired bikes. The grom at certain speeds over 25 can bump you off the road and you can be killed easily. That is all im saying. Just be aware of every bump, and there are so many, when your over 25 mph or ride slow on a bike with the right tires. It doesnt even look right when you ride, your a giant on it and its not safe. Difficult for small corrections. I suspect the only Bri was comfortable was the price, but its not the right bike for her imo.
@Briannah734 ай бұрын
Thank you! I started on the Grom because this is what i used during my test. I love how small it is because im more comfortable. I deff was going to get a bigger one, like an MT03 but when i went to go look, the size was just a lil too much for me starting off and learning the clutch 🤣🤣
@whatsinanamethatthecaptive5774 ай бұрын
Video idea: If you haven't already you could do a review of the grom; features, specs, likes and dislikes. Seems like your shifting is getting to be second nature now. Great job!
@familygromscarsfun38964 ай бұрын
Get yourself some City Grip 2 tires and you'll have the more confidence in the bike and any water conditions that may come up. I've heard nothing but good things about those tires. Cause tbh the stock tires are not good.

I like to just wander as well. People ask me where I go. I tell them my motorcycle rides don't have a destination.

Briannah73, how tall are you? I think you would be better suited for a Kawasaki KLX 300 SM, because of your height. It would be a good starter bike, the grom has 12 inch tires and you will find the bigger tires safer for stopping vs the grom. I been riding most of my life & I got a GROM too....girl, trust another girl, that aint the bike for you. Its not the one for me either, this bike isnt safe to ride. anyways, just a suggestiong to keep in mind if you have the funds, you can trade your grom in. or up as they say. Thanks for the vlog.

I actually am wanting the Husqvarna Svartpillon 401. I dont have the $ right now, but, its that or the honda Rally 300 next for me. I do love the KLX, also, but its hard to decide between those 3 fr.

When I was learning I went with somebody who’s a better rider once I had my own bike and practiced some of the stuff from the MSF course in a parking lot. Oh and I would stall all the time. Took practice to get used to a different bike. They do have the advanced course you could go back with your own bike and get lessons.

I like you stay left or right, I prefer Left so you are in Drivers line of sight and watch your mirrors to make sure cage behind you is stopping. Always have an OUT. The best advice I can give any rider, " Ride like you are invisible " pretend no one can see you to protect yourself. One more: If you can on two left turn lanes use the left side. Cages like drift to the right on left turns. 👍👍👍
@slamboy665 ай бұрын
Try not swerving and focus on the clutch/throttle smoothness. My first vid, do not know your seat time. No biggie it just will premature chain stretch. In 1976 on my 10th birthday I got my first bike a Honda Super Cub stripped down with knobbies . Crashed it right into the swing set. Now a retired MSF instructor.🛵🛵🛵 Who knew⁉
