So what does turning the flat head on the high and low do? Does it adjust anything? I messed with it some before I found this video and they don’t even go a full turn but it will turn with a flat head

I'm not sure if your still around since this video is old but I have a Husqvarna 120 Mark ll and the idle screw has to be turned out I think 3 turns or the choke won't stay out. So my question I guess is would I turn it out another 1 and a quarter turns from that? My problem all started when a friend said it(the saw) needed adjusted well it hasn't ran right since and I've now changed the fuel lines the fuel filter so now I'm trying to adjust it. I need it to run that's what lead me here

Start with idle get it to idle then adjust low side then after it idles and starts to rev adjust the high side and get it to a decent tune! Thanks for watching don’t forget to subscribe and share with your friends!

@@AmericanPiddler sorry I didn't even see your comment until now bud. I get it to fire but then the idle screw seems to be accuracy it seems like I have to turn it way more to get a response.. I cut two slits in the adjustment screws so I could use a flat head screw driver . Sad I can't even afford a 10 dollar tool.. gotta love Joe Biden's america NOT lol.. think the carb could need cleaned? I've changed all the lines and the fuel filter and also looked at the spark arrestor it was clean.. the saw isn't that old but a friend that works on cars(that's what he should stick with)said it needed adjusted and it hasn't ran worth a shit since if at all. I appreciate the advice

I m a female in Georgia and grew up in the wood/logging-sawmill endustry and now my daughter and her arborist husband own the multiple companies from tree services to sawmills and I already was impressed with many items from china so I’m very happy to have found this and will pass along the info. I’m the piddler. .. I take their scraps and piddle out something …always piddling!

A lot of unnecessary talking, I mean a lot! But not really saying anything about tuning low end. We saw you looking ,then adjusting . But you didn't explain what you were looking for and why you needed to adjust.

even though an old video on chainsaw tuning, i was fortunate to run into this video just the right timing. i checked all over UT and this was the most easiest one to follow. i did exactly as he said and wrote the steps to follow. next morning i put the chainsaw blade area on the vise as shown in video and wood blocks to keep it proper heigh level. i got the common tools to fit into the holes. did as he said. took me couple pull and it started. while running, i adjusted the low/high and idle as he prescribed. now this chainsaw will be very useful to cutdown firewood for my grill. thanks for the belated video.Bob
