Much respect, when you're so young but yet devoted so much to God. I love God myself, yet I get so much distraction from the world. But I want to follow Christ and be obedient to him

Amazing and very interesting. 2:38 I never thought it was possible to eat so many eggs for breakfast. 3:11 When I went to the university in my undeveloped country my teachers said if you want to highlite a book, have a copy and do it but never in the original. 😮

I like everything about the video, except the Spanish class. Why can't they learn English? You are not encouraging them to assimilate by making them speak their Spanish and not English. Shame on the school and other seminaries for doing that. Let English be the official language of the US. We will lose our identity if we allow these lazy people to not learn English and continue speaking Spanish.

Besides, young people are slaves to those devices, especially the male brain under 26. The last time the Christian Anglo-Saxon culture was emotionally well and properly laid out as a society should be, due to technology was over 1000 years ago. Adulthood for a male was 12, the same as a primitive tribe even today. Also, are you being taught the Tritadine mass, where the priest addresses the mystery, pitching one out of oneself. With the ritual language, Latin one i at home anywhere in the world. And if one wants to know what is being said one can look it up in the missalette. Life is an experience, so meanings are experienced. Not an intellectual

What's the point of going to a seminary and having a mobile phone. You will not have a hermetic experience with that sort of intrusion.

I was Protestant until middle age when I converted. In my old age now, I am certain that I would have been called to the priesthood, because I was feeling a calling that I did not know what it was. I knew what it wasn’t: being a protestant minister . I am delighted to see these young men choosing this vocation.

It is a very easy life, without contact with social reality, what does not cost is not valued, speaking is easy but doing it is difficult, one died crucified and others enjoy it.

Once you get working as a priest, your routines will perhaps frequently shift, sometimes massively, especially if you have a hospital to look after. I have been called out twice in one night and am still expected to celebrate public Mass twice a day and conduct the usual parochial routines required of me. I sometimes have to sleep in the day too in order to catch up if my nighttime sleep has been disturbed. Seminary routine is a good way to learn the required discipline, determination and space to learn, but in a busy parish it may become difficult to get a good reading/learning routine organised, so you then have to learn how to fit in a good reading routine into the limited time you have as an active priest. On some days this is impossible due to either parish demands or just plain exhaustion, but keeping up with theology and spiritual reading is of course absolutely necessary for our personal development and also to enhance our ability to look after the spiritual needs of God's People under our care. My advice is: learn as much as you possibly can while you have the time given to you in the seminary. Looking back, when I was in a seminary in Rome, I probably could have done a bit more than I could, but I also did not receive any advice from any clergy in my diocese, which was unfortunate. God Bless +

I am Catholic practicing one, but I have no respect whatsoever for Catholic priests because of their disgusting attitude and they think that they’re above the law they think that they are gods they are not a lot of them are full of scandals and even criminals when I go to church. I just go because it’s an obligation to go to mass but that’s basically it I don’t associate. I don’t socialize with priest whatsoever

When I was in the seminary our mail was read by the rector, pictures of women were cut out of magazines, and we had a conference every Saturday night when the rector would scream at us and make individuals stand up and he would humiliate and embarass them.

Make sure you are going to Heaven brother! 1 John 5:13-15 King James Version 13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. 14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: 15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him might not perish but might have eternal life. (I love you too, not as much as God loves you but I do love you)❤🙏 Just close your eyes and say “Jesus, I don’t have faith in you, please help me believe” Jesus loves you, turn to Him. He loves you so much that He died for you. ❤

Kinda sad to see. Young men that can do anything in life and choose to pray ? i became an EMT, Firefighter and have helped more people than youl ever do praying. Now iam 64 and feel fufilled of real world help i did.
@r.j.whitakerАй бұрын
They do more than pray. They are preparing for ministry as priests, and will be ministering to many people. Everyone on the earth has a calling. These guys are called to be priests.
@flpeteАй бұрын
@@r.j.whitaker I know they do more, i was once a altar boy, catholic. But in real world actual helping, does praying accomplish anything ? just to cope ?
@r.j.whitakerАй бұрын
@@flpete Again, they do more than pray. Many of them will be involved in teaching, counseling, administrative roles, etc. Out of curiosity, why do you hate the idea of young men serving God in this way? And why do you hate the idea of other people praying?
@flpeteАй бұрын
@@r.j.whitaker People have the right to pray. I used to. I could of gotten a college degree with the church time & prayers. Its about using your life for the best outcome. Thats all.
@r.j.whitakerАй бұрын
@@flpete And for these young men, serving God by teaching, preaching, counseling, administrative duties, and everything else their calling involves... that's their best outcome. A consecrated religious life is not everyone's calling. But for those who are called to that life,it is very rewarding.
