I've been watching your builds with interest, but this is the first time I've seen you use an 11.1V battery. I guess it's because your build requires a fast firing rate.
@Eagle6Airsoft
@Eagle6Airsoft 18 сағат бұрын
Normally we work on recoil system AEGs, which have an added complexity that can never go the speed of 11.1v, instead we try and achieve the fastest we can on 7.4v. This build will be lovely on 7.4v and one could argue plenty of RPS. But this build is strong enough for 11.1v so i demoed it on that. BUT the customer absolutely doesn't have to use 11.1v. it is head turning though. people literally laughed in store. And sometimes you just gotta do a crazy fun build.

@@Eagle6Airsoft I've always insisted on using 11.1V and high-torque motors, but after seeing your build, I realized that 7.4V combined with a brushless motor can provide excellent trigger response and decent RPS. If a brushless motor runs at 35k on 11.1V, it would operate at around 20-23k on 7.4V. Could a brushed motor with a similar speed achieve comparable performance to a brushless motor at 7.4V?
@Eagle6Airsoft
@Eagle6Airsoft 9 сағат бұрын
@ brushed will still help, brushless is a more efficient and powerful tech though. The key is to not hide performance loss with higher voltage, if gears are the preverbal bicycle wheel, you need to be able to spin it and achieve a free spin and that losses as little momentum as possible. And yes a good motor certainly helps. There’s some terrible 18k motors coming with stock guns, and no matter your shimming it’s still going to be slow performance. Over the years are rof on 7.4. Has been increasing to the point that most builds simply don’t need it in the uk with 350 fps. I stock ngrs m4 back in the day was 10 rps on a 8.4v standard tm pack, it was simply too slow to run a recoil ngrs. People suffered lockers ups, everything we do on ngrs was catered to helping that situation, people used to direct wire just for an extra 1 rps, nowadays we have brushless motors, lipos, etu trigger units given flat 20% speed increases. A good build can certainly be attained on 7.4v, that said 11.1v for me would still be tops in a dmr build both to drive the spring and for the unparalleled trigger response it would offer in the scenario of a gun that has no full auto. And certain other setups.

I actually got it taken apart put your m80 spring by taking a piece of raffia to hold down the piston while I put the other side of the gearbox shell back on and i put in a few other aftermarket parts and reassembled. I'm currently stuck at putting the backstop metal piece for the air nozzle spring guide in. The part that's at your 7 minute mark in your video. Can't get that piece to set in right for some reason. The spring guide is fighting me. Going to attempt again later today following your method to see if it works. The m93r is just a bit diffrent but not as easy as you made it lol

@Eagle6Airsoft the aftermarket air nozzle was the issue. I put in the stock version, and everything went togeather perfectly but.... as soon as I engaged the gears the laylax piston first tooth ripped off very easily. Do I need to have the aoe more adjusted so it catches the second and third tooth instead? Or did i just have a bad piston? This is my first time messing with an AEP gearbox.

@ I mean I hadn’t thought about that until a friend’s twitch chat blocked it the other day. An acronym is what it is of the next generation recoil shock series of electric airsoft gun from Tokyo Marui. Some us SRE as it uses the shoot and recoil engine system from Marui. Some use just NG or next gen or just recoil shock. I’ve struggled with naming convention over the years mostly with Google not liking long titles, never did i think it might be viewed as you and twitch have described. I guess I just prefer to live in my world where it had never even dawned on me so.

Thank you very much in advance
@Eagle6Airsoft
@Eagle6Airsoft Ай бұрын
@@adamsimo6691 it’s complicated I’ve had a lot of problems over the years that are hop related, often the hop rubber takes the brunt of the abuse but truth be told it’s tolerance, it is what it is ie: the tm unit is very tight. So either you modify the rubber to not bunch when in a tight chamber or you fit thinner rubbers. They are all designed for normal aeg who’s standard hop unit is looser than an only fans model who’s retiring at age 25. Try different hop rubbers, or try something recommend. Theres a reason we fit certain parts, yes we want accuracy and range but we also don’t want to spend 10 years building each build. Sometimes compatibility is factored into our recommendations. When you walk off the beaten path and start cutting your own path, it’s sometimes a slog. The tm rubber was a good shout, it sounds like you resolved bunching issues but in turn found new one. R hop isn’t perfect, make sure it’s seated evenly on the patch failing that, at its core it sacrifices groupings for a flatter and potentially longer tragectory, which you then compensate for with heavy ammo. Try range testing on light and heavy ammo to show hop issues a little more clearly.
@adamsimo6691
@adamsimo6691 Ай бұрын
Thanks so much for your reply, I’ve tried to wrap finest sand paper around a barrel and sand the hop unit from inside to make it more looser but it seems to be not enough, also I’ve reinforced the inner barrel to sit tight in the outer, I’ve ordered a several begadi buckings that performs well in my other guns, and to mention, I’ve got all set properly before cleaning the barrel, as long as I’ve cleaned it, it all messed up and removed the rhop patch from its place, also do you have some method to perfectly glue the patch to place? I’ve glued and removed it like 6 times to make it perfect.
@adamsimo6691
@adamsimo6691 Ай бұрын
Finally done it, now it shoots lasers at 60m with 1,45 joules. The tweaking I did was to tighten inner barrel inside outer. By stock it was a bit wobbly, so ive wrapped two layers of tape around the hop up chamber and the pin that holds it in place in outer barrel, the outside when inner barrel comes out I’ve reinforced it by wrapping a piece of cut plastic from BLS bbs bag so it cannot move inside. Now everything is perfect. Still running the stock TM bucking that I’ve modified to flat hop and PDI 6.01 barrel with elvish tac rhop patch.

@@derekporter66 We see this argument online a lot. like maybe if you put the same parts and money in a cyma chassis that its the same. If I put race parts in a ford and race parts in a Porsche, is it the same? You buy tm like this for the highest quality externals, for the high chance of a good QC quality, and for the additional features that other brands may not have like a recoil weight system, a bolt stop simulation system, and trades. if people's requirements is that a gun is roughly shaped like what they are looking for and that it shoots, there is much cheaper replicas that will do the job. when you see the adverts on wish offering iPhone head phones for 19.99, has any one honestly ever brought them and been happy. hopefully, everyone who invests in a tm gets an experience and the eco system that they are trying to offer, one that works. and when tm falls short as inevitably if you use any product long enough for you find issues and areas for improvement. we have then streamlined that into packages that people can look through. upgrades should be something fun to do that expands on the products already on offer, adding more enjoyment and depth to an already deep and enjoyable hobby. no one has to do them, its a solid product out the box, but people do ask a lot after ownership of anything for a while, "is there anything more that can be achieved" The answer yes with most replicas. some more upgradable than others, with some not offering any upgrades at all. these replicas shouldn't be cheap, an expensive car will never be cheap to buy, one typically assumes the price is proportional to the amount spent on making it. is it worth it ? only you can decide that.
