Please could someone who knows explain how it is possible to whirl your head around like that, then immediately stand up straight and sing without a pause, or simply falling flat? Makes me dizzy with admiration

Love it! I'll forever remain baffled how a tall woman manages to dance around on stages in high heels; or any woman come to that (eg Tina Turner).

She is great, although I prefer Floor because I was already a fan since After Forever. But Anette did a great job

This is one of the best, and most interesting compositions that I have heard. The leads with mystical feel add a dream like quality to the flow of the songs. Then Ther is Floor Jansen whose spectacular vocal reach combined with facial expressionism simply wows and my soul goes with the flow of this fine piece of art. Can I just finish by saying that I love it and thank you.

Horrible vocals, even if you use 1000 AI-processes - it will still remain weak. Inho, Anette is the weakest vocalist in the entire history of the band...

Nightwish has become such a bore, starting with Endless Forms and all through Yesterwinde. Tuomas has completely lost the plot. His music used to be about inner struggles, good and evil, angels and demons, very religious, in a mundane relatable way, deep and mysterious, and now he's writing about...Richard Dawkins. It's so sad and pathetic. Floor, in my opinion, is...or at least was in 2013...the most impressive heavy metal vocalist ever to rise from obscurity, and Wacken 2013 wasn't just a show, it was a testament to human potential. But in the albums, she sounds the same over and over and over again, and...I'm sorry but...she's boring. Anette sounded different on literally every song, from Poet to Sleeping Sun to Escapist to Scaretale to Walking in the Air to Slow Love Slow to Planet Hell. She was by far the most interesting and well rounded singer, without having to rely upon an Yngwie Malmsteen equivalent of vocal wanking. Anette's was by far the best Nightwish era and we are all very fortunate to have experienced it. My Nightwish has Anette, Jukka, and Marco, and has Troy rarely (if ever) on stage. Each of those people make a massive difference.

Baptised with a perfect name The doubting one by heart Alone without himself War between him and the day Need someone to blame In the end, little he can do alone You believe but what you see You receive but what you give Caress the one, the Never-Fading Rain in your heart - the tears of snow-white sorrow Caress the one, the hiding amaranth In a land of the daybreak Apart from the wandering pack In this brief flight of time we reach For the ones, whoever dare You believe but what you see You receive but what you give Caress the one, the Never-Fading Rain in your heart - the tears of snow-white sorrow Caress the one, the hiding amaranth In a land of the daybreak Reaching, searching for something untouched Hearing voices of the Never-Fading calling Caress the one, the Never-Fading Rain in your heart - the tears of snow-white sorrow Caress the one, the hiding amaranth In a land of the daybreak

I think I see what the problem is with this song. If Tuomas had worn his steampunk top hat, they would have won, easily. This was by far the best song of Eurovision that year, and although many in the band hated it (which I respect), they did a superb, nay flawless, job in a very difficult environment.

So they finally have a real singer and they decide to play this with two verses and not Astral Romance?? I know they did make a remake with Toni one year later but that has sadder lyrics for the man, leading into the heartbreak of Century Child. It is just so funny hearing the old Tavastia show with Tuomas... and the 2000 Paris show, does not sound like Toni, right? But the Pharaoh sounds like Tapio, does anyone know what happened? Anyway, I would have preferred AR with the old lyrics, live over BatB too. And the new version with Marco... I mean they even did BatB with him, too!

I lost interest in Nightwish ever since they got rid of Tarja. When Anette joined this was the first song I listened from them in a long time and I loved it. I loved her voice. But then again... You know the story. I lost interest in them again.
