Chris Barnes has always represented the PBA extremely well and I'm certain that he always will. Not only did he win his FIRST MAJOR, HE GAVE HONOR TO DICK WEBER, who just passed, and said "THANKS FOR LETTING US BE HERE". Because Dick Weber was a leader and as the greatest ambassador that the SPORT OF BOWLING has ever known, was extremely instrumental in the formation of the PBA, the development of the tournament committee, the (positive) image that professionals should embrace and do, and the oversight towards the growth of the PBA and carrying on the enthusiasm from the original 33 charter members so that bowling, professional bowling provided opportunities for all bowlers and especially upcoming touring pros and bowlers becoming members of the PBA. Thanks should also be given to Eddie Elias for his support and to professional bowlers like Johnny Petraglia Sr. and to Carmen Salvino. And. Actually to Dick Webers wife Juanita who gave many blessings to Dick to go out and tour while she raised a TRULY WONDERFUL FAMILY. Those Weber children are sharing many of the qualities that Dick Weber had where he led by example. REST IN PEACE DICK WEBER.

Scroggins was seriously underrated for a while. A highly consistent bowler who had the misfortune of competing at the same time with PW, Walter, PBJ, and Norm Duke. He is also the one who set a PBA record with 79 straight games of 200 or higher.

Good to see maximum Bob back in 2024, giving it another go and doing KZbin videos for Hammer/Brunswick! This is sort of a portal to the past, and we get to know how these guys end up 16 years later

I find it hilarious that PW is about 110 soaking wet but like to stair people down like he’s gonna do something. In public he would never act like that.

WHY dont they inform viewer just what exactly they are playing for money wise? Its waaaaay more interesting to see what the difference in prize money is each match. They are winning money, arent they? I noticed that nascar and auto racing in general stopped talking about $ as well, the 1% ers need to quit being so uptight with our gnp

impossible for me not to root for Mrs. Asbaty here. Something so…i dunno…down to earth about her. I admire her approach, her release…her results. Seeing her will probably get me watching more old womens tourneys. Well, back to the show, still dont know who wins…

I believe that is actor Carl Betz from the 'Donna Reed' show with the little jet planes. Peter Graves, Bobby Diamond, and William Fawcett in the Borden's ice cream ad.
