Wow this show was ROUGH. I somehow have no recollection of ever seeing this. What a silly format, and the telecast really did not show the bowlers in a good light at all. I can’t believe they awarded an exemption based on this.

I liked the idea. Go up there and throw a strike… if not you’re eliminated. Until the final 4. Sure the bowlers were having a good time but they did get serious too.

That’s not what bowling is though. Bowling isn’t about one shot; it’s about repetition and managing the transition of the lanes over many games, several days of competition. There’s so much luck involved in these silly made for tv one shot events.
