Fern & Wim’s chat - excellent! Neel as a character - so cute! Why was this planet basically like their home but not, what happened - interesting! SM-33 already had been there - interesting! Everything else was fine to bad. Probably my gripes are with the directing idk. When they first meet Helena (?) they are approached as enemies, then taken in as a help to them being lost, then back to being captives, for the leader to make them friends, then a weak sequence of training, the rooftop stuff was there for Neel’s character development, but it’s boring as heck, then these kids who have shown no skill whatsoever as fighters are meant to be the lead to your next battle, oh and you didn’t want to take them to the tower that will get them home, but now it’s okay… This episode felt like clunky writing and pacing when considering the background or events, characters had some good writing but it was the modes of which they had to navigate through were the weak points.

Nah. They are both individually awesome.

I don’t think George Lucas was gonna put himself out there and relied on acting abilities that he doesn’t have.

I didn’t see any clone wars era gear, but I might have missed it. Some helmets did look imperial. Either way both make sense if they traded with merchant not from the planet.
