Subscribed for more Pentatonix! If you are a metal fan, you might like their original "Love Again" although it has a very electro-type vibe to it... also check out "Daft Punk Medley" (their first Grammy - for the arrangement), "Can't Hold Us", maybe something newer like "New Ruiles x Are You That Siomebody" and of course classics like "Sound of Silence" and "Bohemian Rhapsody"... just browse through their channel, you can't possibly pick a bad one. 🙂

Cliff is considered one of the top 50 greatest bass players of all time and sadly passed at the age of 24. That is truly incredible. RIP Cliff, to this day he is sadly missed.

@st James Church initial acapella . Toby Gad composer of song asked her interpretation as he re records some of his “hits” (All of Me (with John Legend), If I were a Boy (co-written w/ BC Jean) 2008 hit recorded by Beyoncé, with Demi Lovaro: Skyscraper, Fergie : Save It Until Morning,Nicole Scherzinger:Don’t Hold Your Breath,….

Every aspect of this song is outstanding. The guitar; the subtlety of how he plays it in the soft parts, and in the background, almost as if it is independent of the song as a whole, on its own little journey - then it comes back together, so seamlessly with the whole. The way that Jerry sings the lead, and Layne comes in as a backing vocal at first. So surprising, unpredictable. And the almost jazzy nature of the guitar licks. Mixing every style imaginable in one song. Beautiful bass, in the beginning as well, very much its own little journey. Each musician gets to go his own way, and the somehow, come together for the chorus, seamlessly. It’s a masterpiece, of arrangement, key changes, musicianship, and not to mention, the incredible lyrics. So thoughtful, deep and moving. A masterpiece. I would only change the ending. Who gives a crap about American freakin idol? These guys are actual musicians, composers, and arrangers. It is very complex.

The most amazing gathering of talent in the history of British rock. I have been fortunate enough to have seen them back home in the UK and here in the States a number of times.

A tie between Purple and Zep - but, when all is said and done, us Brits had the best rock bands in the world in the 70s!

0:09 I can’t argue with that, and my very first concert was Led Zeppelin at Leeds City Hall on the football pitch out back. I was too young to get in but I got in and it was the best concert a person could ever hope to see 🎸🎶

I love it that Hallelujah is typically the “initiation song” for most new Pentatonix followers. I suspect this is the case due to the more than 700M views this video has, it’s usually that or a friend or family member saying, “hey, you HAVE to listen to this group”. It is just so much fun to watch a first-time viewer react to this incredible group. Their faces transform right before our very eyes and each following video they react to they almost always IMMEDIATELY become a rabid fan and the transformation is complete, they have become a Pentaholic. I know this because that was just my very experience and I see myself every time I watch a new, future Pentaholic. If you do not yet have a playlist do yourself a favor and create one, it’s a subscriber magnet for Pentaholics and there are a LOT of us :). You have lots to choose from for future reactions, if you’d like a change of tempo and ambience try Daft Punk or 90s Dance Medley. If you want something more like this one I suggest The Prayer. If you’d venture into something a little darker consider Say Something. If you want to see a little bit of their wild side I suggest Can’t Hold Us. And of course, they are the elite Christmas Songs A Cappella group and I promise you you’ve never heard a rendition of O Come All Ye Faithful with African swag and will leave you with mile-wide grin on your face. But it won’t matter what you choose because Pentatonix doesn’t make a bad cover. It will be fun to take this journey with you :). I’ve Liked and Subscribed, looking forward to your future reactions.

Welcome to the world of Acapella. Pentatonix are just one of the three top groups. There's VoicePlay #TheatreKidsOfACapells they cover everything from Metallica to Disney and much more. Their bass singer Geoff (Jeff) Castellucci has a five octave range does low bass covers on his own channel. Then we have Home Free they do county and much more and their bass singer Tim Foust has been known to blow subwoofers with his low notes.

Enjoy this rabbit hole. I envy you..there’s so much content you get to discover! I’m a huge acapella nerd-sung is HS, college and beyond so when an acapella talent show aired (The Sing Off) I was all over it. PTX was on season 3 and I loved them immediately. All their performances are on YT and it’s worth taking that journey at some point. It’s like watching the PTX origins story. Sub’d for more PTX!

If you like Metal, why not check out Disturbed's cover of "Sounds of Silence" (original written and performed by Simon and Garfunkel)? Make sure to watch the official video, not the live version at "Conan" -- not that it isn't fantastic in its own right, but the video adds a totally new dimension that makes it even more impactful. You may also want to check out Dan Vasc -- a Metal singer who is sure to blow your mind! Try "Amazing Grace", or "My Heart Will Go On" -- yes, the song from "Titanic". 🙂It's AWESOME!

Thank you for reacting to Pentatonix. I recommend their Evolution videos such as the Evolution of Rihanna or the Evolution of Michael Jackson. Or their Grammy award winning songs such as their Daft Punk medley. They also have original music such as “Sing”, “Can’t Sleep Love” or “A Little Space”. They have a deep catalog of Christmas music, including some originals.
