Two Lane Black Top. Vanishing Point, Macon County Line, Dirty Harry and Crazy Marry are some of the best car movies of the seventies if not the top of all time.

I've talked about this movie for years n years my son (RIP) found the dvd ,Two lane blacktop n watched it ,told his mom what the that movie sucked nobody talked it just sucked ,Than I had to show him the air of his ways ,long storie short he got ot after I watched it with him it was funny. Miss u son still make lmao😂😂😂

I just saw the movie. Interesting, atmospheric look at street racing subculture. But the plot goes nowhere. At one point they're pulled over by cops but we never find out the outcome. The "race" to DC just meanders through some small towns and then trails off into nothing. Meanwhile they mailed their pink slips to General Delivery in DC. And no human being anywhere just gets into a stranger's parked car without saying a word and expects a ride.

I don't know what kept Hollywood from putting Dennis Wilson in more films! The camera loved him! Yeah, he didn't say much, but neither did Clint Eastwood. Just a stare from both of them said more than any words ever could!
