This was great, I've been looking for "how to make simple candles" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Ever heard of - Peyaniel Psychological Predominance - (just google it ) ? It is a great one of a kind guide for discovering the trick to be a candle maker for profit without the headache. Ive heard some interesting things about it and my mate got amazing success with it.

If I use my silicone molds for soap making can I still use those same molds for other things like baking, notion bars, candles, etc? My Lye is food grade if that makes a difference.

As a soap maker I can tell you No You should not under any circumstances use them for food once you have used them for soap and cosmetics. And You Wouldn't Want to. the fragrance will transfer to the food and ruin it.

You'll have to use a hard candy mold, chocolate molds can't take high temperatures so isomalt will melt the mold.
