LOL! What an ignorant video. Who wants a crap-py old guitar for a too high of price? Guitars made today are far more superior than the ones of the ancient past. Old guitars are only valuable as a heirloom, nothing more.

I don't think my computer is going help in evaluating the sounds and I suspect that is true for most people's computer systems. I recommend you keep the one you like better, it doesn't matter what I think. Old guitars are interesting.

The Fender Vintera ll tele is awesome. Gorgeous lacquer on the neck and headstock. It feels superb and plays beautifully. The pickups kick ass and the Fiesta red with the off-white pickguard finishes it off nicely. I've had mine in Fiesta red for about three months. They are not cheap. You're looking at £899 to £949 but in my opinion, they are worth the price. Phil Tennant 68 years, Derbyshire

I'll tell you what I love about this model Telecaster. It's exactly like a classic, early 1960s Telecaster you could get off the rack at that time. A regular Telecaster, none of that fancy pickup, push/pull, belly-cut, exotic wood BS-a regular, run-of-the-mill Telecaster, the way that God himself intended. No Pau Ferro, no locking tuners, no modern bridge hardware. And best of all, the neck on these is the classic "60s C" which has a great taper, unlike the newer "modern C" which to me has a less comfortable, flatter carve. This one is bulkier high up the neck which feels great if you like to bend strings, but it tapers down slim at the 3rd, 2nd, and first fret so it's a lot easier for your fretting hand to dance around in the first couple of neck positions. The Kluson tuners are what you want on a guitar like this; they're one of the things that Leo Fender got right the first time. And the great thing about this guitar is that Fender now has one at the main price points: this Mexican-made Vintera II, the American-made Vintage II, and the Custom Shop option. I really hope from now on Fender keeps these models in the product lineup; it's a total no-brainer.

I found a used 2020 SG standard in heritage cherry last weekend - 950 from guitar center with a hard shell case! Its beautiful. minimal neck dive.. and its the third time ive held the sg and the first time it felt right. had a couple nicks and scratches, but nothing you see off the bat. the neck is perfect. and although it needed a setup, once that was done, it is the easiest guitar to play with that upper fret access. but holy cow those cleans are actually amazing. I recorded a cleaner ambient track with the sg and it sparkles and growls at the same time. love how creamy it is! I do wish theyd include a bone nut though, needed to adjust the nut during the setup too.. but everything else was perfect

also the pups being where they are - are actually due to (technically) an sg design flaw. the angle of the strings from the bridge doesnt directly go over the magnets in the pickups, you can angle it, but imo thats how you get that singing sound. but thats why they bring the bridge pup so high that its basically right under the strings. the neck pup is preference based but I like it pretty low, not recessed, but thats typical. once set up, and nut fixed this guitar sits in tune better than my strat with locking tuners (except that G string ;) ) I like your vids man keep them coming!

Simply the best guitars on the market…not for couch/bedroom players, these are great instruments for those of us who need a gigging guitar, that is extremely useful for the live musician. Very versatile in a stage situation.

I own vintage strats as well as reissues. Every guitar is different. Just because it is old, does not mean that it is good. The worst Strat that I owned was a 57' Mary Kaye bot in 1976. Sold it two months later. Meanwhile, I must admit that I love my 58 and 62. But you have to go thru a lot of them to find what fits you. Great video

It's not that we don't like PRS, other brands are cheaper and gives more. We want a REAL PRS USA model, but they are TOO TOO TOO pricy: $5k - $6k each. SE models are not quite at the same quality. Also, these foreign countries are not allow to cut on the curve/route around all Volume/tunes/toggle switch. This is why SE models can not change our mind. Lol. You can keep your China/Korea/Indonesia PRS guitars. Our Gibson LP USA models are only $1,500 - $2,900. So.... Lol.

Or amps, pedals etc. Good review, by the way... Got 2 other MX STD Teles too. A Well Beatup old 2011 60th ann' Crackled black w faded greenish pg & Yellowed neck. Other, a Olympic? white, which now has a Rosewood Squier IC "Obey Propaganda" neck, just to make it look like a "Jimmy Page" replica. ❤

dang i got a really cheap off brand tele from CNZ audio in coral (poplar body) and i love it. was only about 200$ and idk man this guitar just feels RIGHT to me. even if i dropped some money on a fender neck and vintage tuners id still be at around 650$-700$ (assuming i got the roasted maple tele neck). just something to consider for anyone reading this thats on a budget of sorts or if you're interested in building your own partscaster. the vintera ii looks really cool and im a fan of red guitars in general, but im not really sure this one is for me. cheers mate

I am so glad to see this review. I have owned this Peavey Classic 20wMH for about 8 months now and I totally agree with your perspective on this amp head. It is the most underrated and under appreciated amp head I've come across in 35 years of playing. Lush full cleans, versatile and satisfying channel 2 gain structure that can do high saturated gain or dirty pre amp break up, through the pre-post experimentation which itself is very unique. When I purchased this amp head I had 2-3 times the money this cost to spend, but my ears kept on bringing me back to this. It had the cleans tone, but would satisfy as a pedal platform, the versatility of gain styles for a wide array of style/taste demands. Overall the tube tone on either channel oozes quality. So many other features in the design that I find satisfying as well (Mic sim, usb rec, 1-5-10 wattage adjustment) I run it through the matching 212C matching Peavey cab.The only concern I have had to date is that the head itself runs hot "physically", as in it is hot to touch on the control metal faceplate on the front (within 20-30 of usage). I've noticed keeping it in a well ventilated area while playing reduces the intensity of it but it's noticeably hotter than any other unit I can recall using in the past. Still, my fav amp head ever! just hope it doesn't melt in on itself someday, lol.
