I'd never read The Time Machine before I made this audiobook. I started working on it around the holidays, thinking it would be fun to chip away at during my break. After just one chapter, I was hooked. I couldn't wait to work on it and read the next chapter, and the next, and the next. I had no idea that HG Wells had written such a compelling mystery, but I guess I shouldn't be surprised -- there's a good reason it's a classic! Usually, I create about 80-100 images for our longer audiobooks, and rotate through them to give a sense of atmosphere. This story presented an interesting challenge, in that it has dramatically different settings (the past and the future) and I didn't want to give any spoilers through the images. So I went all-out with this one and made over 200 unique images for it, timed to distinct moments in the story. I"m not sure if I'll be able to do this for all our shorter titles, but for this one, I felt it deserved it. The story is so imaginative and the world is very vivid. I hope you enjoy this story as much as I did! Well, from the first sentence read, I'm liking this much more than the last time I tried to hear this Novel. I had to turn off the first one because the readers voice was unlistenable! Something every audiobook producer needs to consider.

I have been a big fan of your channel since I first heard the lovely quiet voice reading Anne of Green Gables and The Blue Castle, wonderful LM Montgomery books. I appreciate the way the beautiful prose is slowly spoken so one can savor the loveliness of the words. But, I have a question: what happened to them? They are now no longer saved in my library, nor seem to be available. Please bring them back. I have no real idea how the AI voices are generated, but it is remarkable. I would love a video on how you do it, and who you are. This tech stuff is so new to me and I am 75 years old, so I would love to understand the magic. Your artwork is also amazing.
