If you've never read Frankenstein before, you're in for a real treat. Mary Shelley's story is surprisingly simple yet has an incredible power to draw you in. I went into this with low expectations, as I only knew Frankenstein as the lumbering, grunting monster from the old movies. This portrayal couldn't be further from Mary Shelley's Creature, who is clever, thoughtful, and tragic. I really enjoyed listening to this chapter by chapter as our team created it, and I got really invested in the lives of Victor and those who surrounded him. Told in three distinct narrative voices, I hope you will enjoy this reading as much as I did. -- If you're new here, we're a small channel run by book lovers. 📖 While we use AI for the voices, a lot of love and care from real humans goes into our readings. It took us two months to create Frankenstein, as we carefully selected the right voices, generated (and regenerated) each line, and edited nearly eight hours of content.
