He was wanted. In pain. Hurting physically and emotionally. Still showed up. Phill is a worrier. At 17 getting a huge boost in fame. I’m Just glad he survived.

WOW, Eddie, so much emotion, such a gift to be born with such a great voice! Love ya, & Pearl Jam. So glad you didn't succumb to death as other grunge artists have & we still to this day still get to hear you.

Only seen Adam sing one tune the same as the recorded version. That was "Recovering the Satellites" in Atlanta in 1997. Have never seen a video of him doing another one. Suppose it exists, would like to see it.

Yes He said in second verse “Oh Dear Jack” (in line with Jack Thomas) the intial first Pick by the Band to be the Lead Singer to replace Andrew Wood. So it could be interpreted as “Jack” Irons the Former Drummer of the Red Hot Chili Peppers Who played the critical role in introducing Stone, Jeff to Eddie suggesting They take a look at Vedder as Their possible “New” Lead Singer. If it werent for Jack Irons the Genius & Legendary Band Pearl Jam would likely have been lost to History or well never created! I Personally think Him saying “Oh Dear Jack” in the opening of verse two was a homage to Jack Thomas, as if saying “Oh Dear Jack, can You see Me now I am Myself like You Somehow.” Basically saying this could have been You so they become somehow connected.

One of my favorite performances ever! Gotta say though, the audience is blinding white as hell! I'm an old guy so I only started watching them the past few years. Quite the band and Weiland, even though high as hell, was killing it.

Every great rock, metal and punk band ever has needed a great drummer. Matt Cameron is one of those drummers.

Jerry’s dark groove riffs, and dark harmonies which at the time there was nothing like it. Cornell had the voice but these harmonies between Jerry and Layne gave us another dimension. those dark hi/low harmonizations from Layne and Jerry. The right amount of heaviness and darkness, with melodies. And the lyrics are absolutely f**king dark tragedies. Bands can write about the devil and Satan but addiction and mental darkness are the scariest shit the devil ever inventory Layne…damn man…you are still the best.

A truly satisfying butcher's OST here. The intro where I am sharpening my knives. That first "Yeah!" when I do my first cut. Then, the grinding of the guitars when I move on to shredding all the meat flesh! So ASMR!

He’s dead because he didn’t get help. He left children and sad family members behind. There’s nothing great about drugs and alcohol abuse. Such talent, and loved, but it wasn’t enough. Hopefully, he’s at peace. He didn’t trust himself or God enough.

Posting the into lyrics here for when i watch this again randomly in a few days weeks months and years LOL "You blame me, break me, hate me you try your best to make me lose my way and go crazy all alone. But somewhere deep inside me i try hard to find me and someday i'll have a life of my o' 'o 'o own. You're so scared i'll find my way and won't come home."

I just introduced this song to my 80yr old friend. He said, “incredible! This vocalist perfectly emulates the tone of bagpipes!” I can’t unhear that and I love it. It seems like gravity itself is pushing the sound out of him, he’s completely just allowing that to happen. I can’t stop listening and I never will.
