1986 family moved to a pulp mill town shaved my hair off to a mohawk, found a skateboard, got a mobile cassette player, recorded this song on a midnight radio station... and changed 6 others into what Port Alberni, British Columbia would be the first "punk scene" they had ever seen in a redneck town,,, the Betty scene quickly followed with the punk chicks and then the girls in military gear and combats... weekend trips to Victria to see groups like Dayglo Abortions and others quickly followed with "borrowed" cars and liquor store "runs" to mosh pit frenies and then "back to shool on Mondays"

Well, I held out to 2:33 before the tears spilled. For Terry, for the bygone era, for the brother/sisterhood of the Rock Steady that kept us together. And perhaps for myself, too, for getting old. We will always have the music. I just wish we could find the love again in this ridiculously divided world of ours.
