How does this work? You scan at 75, not 50, so apparently you have to get there with marines first. But why? The reapers can throw mines before being killed even if gol is there... right?

"especially the ultralisk make it much harder" You could always make units that aren't marines... Marauders maybe? With the energy upgrade, I think spectres can psi lash right out of the barracks.

Maxed your army on the train mission on brutal, then killed the last train in the tunnel before massacring your own army lol. Then the way you forced your way through with a small squad of marines with one medic while gathering. Amazing.

How do you keep them stacked? My drones always randomly unstack because they get out of sync. :) I believe there is a slight randomness in unit movement that randomly causes one drone to go faster than the other, which makes them split up. Do you just restart until the stars align?

which ones bounce off for you? The ones on the close patches generally shouldn't if you line them up just right, the far one obviously depends on your micro. But i did restart quite a lot for this

@@ZPRsc2 They were bouncing randomly on all three patches! it was completely unpredictable to me, sometimes one of the patches would split after 5 seconds, sometimes after 30. I'm still not sure if it's actually random or what exactly is going on. I even tried microing the drones to keep them spaced perfectly but that didn't really help at all. I just kind of gave up on getting a run with perfect mining because the randomness + waiting for the tutorial on every restart was getting frustrating. Might give it another shot though if I could find a way to make it more consistent.

Small improvement maybe. At the start, instead of moving your mouse to the top right, you could try to use the minimap instead, it would be faster
