Starcraft 2 Lab Rat normal

Not that great of a run, I just wanted to implement the old mineral boosting trick somewhere and this seemed like the mission where it'd make the biggest difference. Lab Rat is very boring to grind so I probably won't improve this.
I have gotten the pool down almost 2 seconds faster than this and the attack can be done a lot better too, it's in fact slower here than in the old record.
I also checked the languages, turns out English is fastest for once

How do you keep them stacked? My drones always randomly unstack because they get out of sync. :) I believe there is a slight randomness in unit movement that randomly causes one drone to go faster than the other, which makes them split up. Do you just restart until the stars align?

which ones bounce off for you? The ones on the close patches generally shouldn't if you line them up just right, the far one obviously depends on your micro. But i did restart quite a lot for this

​@@ZPRsc2 They were bouncing randomly on all three patches! it was completely unpredictable to me, sometimes one of the patches would split after 5 seconds, sometimes after 30. I'm still not sure if it's actually random or what exactly is going on. I even tried microing the drones to keep them spaced perfectly but that didn't really help at all. I just kind of gave up on getting a run with perfect mining because the randomness + waiting for the tutorial on every restart was getting frustrating. Might give it another shot though if I could find a way to make it more consistent.

yeah, I was reminded of it from watching AI games but it's really just an old trick that people never really bothered with in 1v1 because the payoff is so small
