Hey woogie you know your stuff I'm about to put the HR transmission gears in my jato running 3.3 with RCR Crank and O.S. 11k carbs Robinson 40/20 gearing my ? Is what weight silicone fluid would you recommend for the HR gears in the tranny

I use one Pico exhaust gasket and one Dynamite exhaust gasket. The Pico is flat and thinner so the other can go over. It makes a great seal

I'm looking for some good on road tires with tread for my kyosho mp9 buggy. I was told to converse with you about it and that you were a good judge of tires for 1/8th scale nitro.

Check out the grp line of on-road tires at a main hobbies. All different types of compounds for different types of services about $25 a set

I use two gaskets one Pico style because it has a flat surface rather than a cylindrical surface and then I use a dynamite gasket over that one. So basically I use two gaskets but one of them has to be thinner as in the Pico

Yeah man I love Robert's products. Such a cool dude. Thanks for checking out the video. I'll rebuild this engine this coming week. Got to do things on a budget nowadays. Wish I could just buy them straight from these manufacturers but times are a little lean. I still love the hobby so I do what I can do. Plus it gives me more experience in rebuilding these engines

Is that engine from that South Africa guy who had the big window on the piston. I think you are going to have trouble starting the engine if it was set up for the reed block. Without the reed, the fuel will spray out through the carby because more intake timing for the reed set up😮

What did you do for front tires for the Jato? Did you have to make any mods to put whatever stock tires to put on there?

No, I was lucky enough to find the jayco foams especially for the Jato online. They have the ball bearings.. might be a little hard to find
