Michigan has a Detroit style coney, with sauce that is chili-like, and a Flint style with dryer, crumbly meat as the topping. Both are delicious!

I love how every person in America thinks that Madonna was a local girl from Michigan who had a one hit wonder in the 80s and then disappeared off the face of the earth...lol... 😂 she just had a concert with an audience of 1.6 million, in Rio, literally a few months ago... all those women you mention have a better voice but what a bad luck they didn't know how to sell that voice to the masses. Love or hate Madonna... that bit*h is intelligent. I respect that.

Angela Gossow I believe really opened the door for women in the more extreme metal genre. She is still a big stand out as a great vocalist.

I was a musician when I was younger so for me Van halen were the full package. The clear expertise in the music as well as Roth's showmanship. I am UK but was lucky enough to see the band at Monsters of Rock in 84 shortly before Roth left. I agree they made it sound effortless which is always a clear sign of top notch musicians

Grunge definitely played a big part in the decline of hair metal, but Dre also made a great point. Just take 1 band Ratt for instance, and think about what they were writing in the early 80’s “Lay it down” “Your In Love” Round And Round” these songs were bangers for that style. What were they writing in the late 80’s…”Way Cool Jr”??? Just total garbage

out of that list it's Nirvana or U2. Also I could argue that Def Leppard had a bigger impact than Bon Jovi, they were kind of the precursor to Bon Jovi and the first band like that

Randy rhoads was my favorite, but nobody knew a guitar like eddie, he made it talk, he was the greatest. Its amazing how kids these day can play so well. 10 yr old playing bark at the moon leads and all.

What is the definition of Rock? In my world, Oasis is not rock. Maybe U2, but it's probably closer to pop/rock. AC DC, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, dire straits, Nirvana, Queen, Rolling Stones, Deep Purple, Jimi Hendrix etc.
