Thank you for the video. Could you please tell me the distance from the viewer to the screen? I think it’s around 2.5 meters. Would a 120-inch screen be too big for that distance? Did you experience any discomfort or feel that the screen was too large for the room?
@Protocorner18 күн бұрын
In my case the distance is between from the screen to the eye is about 4 to 5 meters. It could be a lot closer without having it too close imo.

@@Protocorner thanks! Based on your experience, if you were choosing a screen size for a distance of 2.5 to 3 meters, what size would you choose?

Hey thanks for the video, it's really useful. Do you know what the clearance is behind the screen, in cm? I'm trying to figure out if when wall-mounted I will be able to keep the current frames I have mounted on the wall :)
@Protocorner18 күн бұрын
From the screen to the wall behind the screen its about 10 cm
@f.ragazzi17 күн бұрын
@@Protocorner Thanks. I recentely received the screen, and for the future readers, the actual distance between the top part of the screen screen mechanism (the part that covers the screen when folded) the and the wall is 2,3 cm. The wall-mounting hook is 1cm. So if you mount it on the wall, you have 3,3cm space between the screen mechanism and the wall, for any frame you may have.

Hi! Try those links. Two first is just the Bestå bench. The last link is to the Björköviken Door. Imma say, other than wanting to build Ikea furniture, looks like a lot of money cudda been saved by placing the screen atop an entertainment ctr of desired length 😅 Still, I'm sure you had a great time designing and building this piece with your own hands. And it turned out as desired. Great work! I don't have kids or pets, so I'm going to simply place the screen atop my simple platform.

Pretty good. My problem right now is just getting the Vividstorm for a price I'm willing to pay. I might also suggest either building or buying a motorized sliding shelf that can slide out the projector instead of having to slide the entire cabinet.
