Visited the Twin Towers in December late 1980’s, and have some nice photos of my wife & two young daughters on the roof with the late afternoon sun giving them a golden glow. On the terrace at the base of the tower there were these big upright letters spelling out the Christmas message PEACE ON EARTH.

I really believe that 9/11 is the moment all of the country's current problems can be traced back to. It was a horrific, scarring attack that the nation never really healed from. The visceral hate and fear the people in the above video genuinely felt was fed by a nonstop propaganda machine called Fox News and right-wing "alternative media" which culminated under Donald Trump's administration. And now, on 6/20/2024 (the day of this writing), the United States Supreme Court may and is expected to release a decision tomorrow about Whether and to what extent a president may be criminally prosecuted for acts allegedly occurring within the scope of his official duties. That's because his supporters believed they had a right to overthrow the government and stop the peaceful transfer of power. He gave them the green light. I travelled from Dublin and was up there walking around the roof of the South Tower with my brother the morning of Monday 19th March 2001. Awesome photo's were to be had from up there.
