Thank you, my first experience with duel wheels and wheel simulators. I thought all lug nuts needed to come off, not just the 3 with the dimples. Another life learning experience.

Larry, I recognize that red wheel on the boom arm as a BiloToy (also known as BiloFix) wheel. I loved my BiloToy as a kid. By the way, BiloToy was founded by the sons of the founder of Lego. Very cool steam shovel you built there. You are a true inspiration to the hobby. ☺

Larry, this video series is BRILLIANT, thanks. You give just enough information for us to take it further. Cheers.

Hi Larry, It's not made by proxxon. I have a Proxxon FET which was made in Tiawan. The Micro Mark or Micro lux saw is made in Japan... I have one of those also, both are good saws but, they're not a Byrnes though... some day I'll have one of those as well, Thanks for sharing the info on the blades!

How do I remove the simulated nut cover from the simulator itself? Going with extenders and screw on nut covers to prevent another loss of wheel simulators and need access to the studs.

I’ve always wanted to build like this ever seeing similar works as a kid. You’ve really inspired me. I’ve started my own build. I’ll post a bud on my channel, but I’m trying to work through the learning process. Thanks. PS, where you at?

I found your channel by looking for a real water feature on a model railroad. Your work is awesome man. any updates to it? You definitely got a sub from me. I'm looking at doing a N scale layout due to the last model train my dad bought me was an N scale before he passed away. I would love to see a update of your layout.

I've been doing something similar to you I was taking some old 1x1 8ft bean poles and ripping them into scale 2x4 2x6 2x8 1x2 1x4 and so on I made them in all different lengths and made units with stickers and it ended up looking like a 1 /12 lumber yard when I was done I've made a g scale 4ft arched bridge better than the one's I've seen on ebay bought some lgb brass tracks and wow it's an addictive hobby I even got my laser engraver going for signs going to make a scale lumber mill next gonna make a whole bunch of stuff then sell it all as a package

Thank you SO MUCH for this video. I bought a shuttle bus to convert into an RV and one of these wheel covers was off, and had ALL the fake lugs popped off. The two that actually hold it onto the wheel are straight up missing. But now, at least I only have to buy the two with the screw in them and not a whole new wheel simulator.
