Generally good info, but too many irrelevant shots of the guy's face and not enough important closeup shots of the parts being formed

LED. Ist dies machbar? Ansonsten muss ich mir etwas ausdenken.

Hello.... When we stick a plexiglass panel to another to get more thickness and a larger size, then cut it in the form of a prism and polish it Is it possible in this way to get a prism? Can we get the colors of the Rainbow ? Is this how we can refine it into shapes without problems?

Hi, I joined two pieces of laser cut clear acrylic face to face with Acrifix 0192. I noticed many very fine and short crack lines in the joined area. Is this normal? How to prevent the crack lines? Grateful if anyone can help.

What if you need to form it into a complete tube??
@therealracer135
@therealracer135 2 жыл бұрын
You can probably buy it in tube form, otherwise you would have to make molds with timber and then glue the ends together with acetone, but your seam has to be pretty near perfectly fitting for it to work properly.

Can you take hardened plexiglass like say the 2 x 2 sheets of clear plexiglass that you can buy at Home Depot and heat them up with this machine and bend and form them ?
@therealracer135
@therealracer135 2 жыл бұрын
Buy a sheet, test it out and post what you find here. I think the hardened stuff is probably just heated and 'quenched' to give it the hardness. Might be worth heating the whole sheet up and letting it cool slowly before trying to do anything with it; I think if you tried strip heating it straight up, it might crack along the edge of the heat affected zone where the hard sections end.

Start with the smallest drill bit you have and work up in the smallest increments possible. Adding tape to that side will also help.
