Thank you for making this video! I’ve struggled with limerence for all of my life, and it developed when I was a child after experiencing childhood abuse and neglect. Seeing content like this definitely makes me feel like I’m not alone because growing up I always felt so embarrassed about it and I never talked to anyone about it, even to this day. It’s something I still struggle with into my adult years but I try to ground myself as much as I can. I really appreciate this video! 💕

Frances story still resonates.. Her legacy should have been the cautionary societal tale that course corrected systems institution and our collective understanding. Its absolutely not in vane & there has been progress, but unfortunately these attitudes about conformity still persist ironically the information age allows viral gaslighting as well as enlightened insight . Um, okay. The acting was good. However, the story wasn't. Sad her mom died, but how? And no dad, so where was he? The religious aunt and uncle, what did he actually do the movie wasn't clear, and her having to forgive him because he touched her or worse was crazy. And the cousin died. How, drugs? Then the boyfriend, did he pimp her out? She lost her baby, that was sad. What happened for her to shoot him? I just don't get it. I would not recommend this movie. I feel bad i wasted my time on it. But at least she went home to her mom.

I'm Catholic. I don't agree with a lot of Catholic teaching anymore, but I am still Catholic. I'm also an independent musician, one who feels both connection to and isolation from the punk (and especially folk punk) scene I find myself surrounded by in the city where I live. This song really interests me, but I'm more interested by the movie it's attached to, which I intend to watch now as soon as I can. I'm not a film-head by any means (most of what I watch is Star Wars), so probably a lot of the nuance of a great independent film will be lost on me, but the story sounds like something I might really connect with. So thank you in advance for hopefully turning me on to something I didn't expect to ever find.

I’m confused how the mom died? I feel bad for these girl, getting raped by her uncle, but how she lost her baby? Was she getting raped by that young guy?? I’m lost… and then she wakes up in a pool of sweat and kills the young guy… it seems by accident, but life in prison??? So young??? She’s only 15 with no prior convictions.. Was these a real life event? Because the system sucks, life in prison with death penalty?? Oh gosh 😵💫Then those creepy ppl at the church, it was like a cult..
