When you say compost do you mean potting soil?

Some plants need the smaller container. If you plant them in a container too big they can develop, root rot and die.

I have a dead Seville Orange tree. It was planted in Fleming’s potting soil that came with “ fleas” so I isolated it till all bugs were gone. When I put the pot with other houseplants it slowly lost leaves. Now it has a spindle if’s “ trunk” with one parched leaf hanging on. What should I do with it?

I’m trying this this weekend with different size marigolds my grandmas favorite I’m so excited! Usually I just sprinkle pollinator mix on my flower beds and watch them do their thing. But my back isn’t how it used to to be so my hubby is raising the garden beds and now I can do this container planting with those beds too Thanks Ian I’m so excited for gardening this weekend

This video is unwatchable. The constant movement of the camera is nauseating. I'm 59 seconds in, and I have had to stop. Maybe get your camera person some training. bttw: I have plants in pots I was told were too small. The plants are doing beautifully.
