Im not too fond of how Shadow is written in this arc. But I think the reason he acted so carelessly against the Zombots was due to him being created to be immortal and immune to any biological disease as the Ultimate Lifeform. But since the Metal Virus was manmade and not natural, his immunity had no effect.

Interesting to see someone who enjoyed the writing of Shadow in this arc. Certainly a rare opinion.

I could imagine that a localized and stable version that turns only one organism and can't infect anything else would essentially be this version's robotization. As for Shadow getting infected, I'm kind of surprised they didn't try to play with that given that he has immortal alien DNA and whatnot. Like, why not mutate into a super robot zombie that starts to command other zombies and we get Emperor Robot Zombie Shadow or something.

Honestly, having been exposed to Sonic largely through the SatAM cartoon, I always had this inexplicable fondness for the Sonic/Bunnie ship. Maybe it's because she was the "normal" one compared to Sally and I couldn't see a freedom-loving drifter like Sonic really being happy with Sally after she retakes the throne, maybe it was just because I liked the speedster guy/strong gal dynamic, maybe it was just because I found Bunnie more appealing than Sally, I don't know, but I've always been a little bummed that the comics never really did anything with it, especially since they literally set it up from Bunnie's intro. I still like Sonic/Sally, but Sonic/Bunnie and Sonic/Blaze will always be my personal favorite Sonic ships.
