I have one of the losi nascar and the tires are smaller than the groms it comes with a 19t pinion gear and 59 spur 😮😅

Same gears as the groms and same motor and you should get a heat sink on your motor mine gets so hot it will freeze the thermal shutdown don't seem to work right other people said the same thing

I’ve been racing Rc motorcycles for 20+ years…. You have to learn to slow down to take a turn tighter…, I can turn a 1/5 scale Rc motorcycle in a 20” circle (or less) at speed… it just takes practice and learning to be smooth on the throttle and steering … you’ll get it… they are very rewarding once you get the hang of it 😁

Stock receiver is built into esc so I swapped in a FG4S receiver so i can use my Noble NB4

@@B1zer_rc xt30 shoudl take continuous 30 amps. But there are plenty of low quality xt30s you can buy.

No issues so far, havent melted my connector or anything on 3S. No hot temps either. Just make sure if you do use xt30 that they are Amass brand. I chose this connector because of its size and it can handles peaks of up to 65amps

Servo mount I bought locally but its a Powerhobby but I recommend Ecopower one as the Powerhobby isnt machined with the lip to lock into chassis, it juat sits on top. The Ecopower locks into slots which is much sturdier

Nice! I’ve just dug my original out of the loft from the 90s and am looking to rebuild it again. I only just discovered they re released these (not been into RCs for about 30 years). Looks very slick, turns out my painting skills weren’t so good when I was a kid so need to come up with a new paint job idea. Love what you did with this!

Funny i swear by akk transmitters lol love um.had this quad a long time...still good, run a lollipop lil buttton n just got some race wire for mine with lights. Will look cool.. n ty for the vid! Going over my build. N ps if u havent tried useing corrosionX its litterally 20 merricals in a bottle lol.. thanks again!and i get the best power from the battery directly in all my wings and quads.. ment for it i push 1200.on um all the time n fly miles! Oh wow, quality control issues in this new era. I bought quite a few of the gold pan ones and never had 1 with missing parts or not the right parts. Shame on AE. I guess that is why they only put out a very limited run.

Best/Thorough review of this module. Thank you so much. I just got mine in the mail. I have the thing mounted on a strip of plastic gift card cut to the size of the top of a battery. Sits on top of the battery sideways with the ends of the gift card strip which goes under a battery strap on each side. Might be a slight pain in the ass to tuck under the straps each time changing your battery but it is meant to easily swap quads, charge, etcetera. Super loud compared to the hellgate which I cannot hear very well.
