Only thing I’m concerned about is how warm it is, I’m getting some people saying it is and some saying it’s comfortable

If you play Genshin Impact for 6 hours, yes the device will get a little hot. If you play Switch emulation for 6 hours I’d bet the device gets a bit warm. I think if you’re pushing the device to its limits, it’s going to generate heat. But you can turn on the fans, or you can even just limit the performance mode so it doesn’t work to the point of getting warm (of course that will also limit performance) Personally this hasn’t been a concern for me! I can see Microsoft releasing an Edge OS that is a modified version of Windows where Microsoft Edge will mimic steam OS and allow gamers to play games from multiple companies without much tweaking.

Had one, psplay was only playable at mininal mbps, and gfn was barely playable too unless very low mbps, They made a cloud streaming device but used a cpu that can barely keep up with high bitrate decoding.. bit of a joke since its such a geniys idea

Nope. No plans they’ve announced for that. We know of technically 4 SKUs on their way: Lenovo Legion Go 2 (Z2E chip) Lenovo Legion Go S (Windows, Z2 Go chip, 32gb RAM, 1tb storage) Lenovo Legion Go S (Windows, Z1E chip) Lenovo Legion Go S (SteamOS, Z1E chip) The Best Buy listings talks about a Z2 Go, but the Lenovo Press release doesn’t even mention it. It’s a little more convoluted than it should be. Thanks for watching! 😊

The one question I have yet to see anyone answer about the SteamOS version: Are the back buttons and gyro individually addressable in Steam Input? This could have been easily answered by exploring the controller settings.

Great question! The demo units were fairly locked down so it was hard to really dive into those specifics which would explain why it wasn’t able to be covered in my video or others. But I’m sure it’s something I’ll be able to look into with a finalized retail unit! Thanks for watching 😊

I love the ease of use that comes with SteamOS but leaving behind the versatility (and comfort) of windows can be hard! Also GamePass not being available through SteamOS unless you’re cloud gaming is definitely something to consider! Thanks for watching! 😊

I think while Bazzite is great - the SteamOS release will be driver optimized for the Lenovo legion go s and that alone is going to be a big benefit - new chipset, new hardware, all ready out of the box through SteamOS no need to worry about installing yourself. (But in all seriousness, the GO S could be a good lightweight option that may not interest current Deck owners but can build a passionate consumer base of casual games that are fine not playing AAA gaming. If Lenovo reorganizes themselves from the launch, addresses Battery life, Hardware issues, and other concerns, and Gives GENUINE SUPPORT. If it succeeds, we may see better organization and more options. Lenovo could ask AMD for another exclusive chip that is more battery efficient and Lenient/Experimental for modern AAA gaming.)

I have the mini as well. Imo the mini is only for people where pocketability and small size is the most important thing to you. Otherwise if you're not planning to pocket carry the device everywhere. I would suggest grabbing the retroid pocket 5 for $20 more Me personally lives in a city where I ride aot of public trans and ubers. I love the mini because I can hold it in my front pocket. It's basically like carrying 2 galaxy s24s in there. It basically goes everywhere with me right now

Appearance is one of my priority when choosing any handheld device. I don't mind having to to take a grip along and put it on when using the device. The pleasing aesthetic makes me want to pick it up to game more.

I had a Steam Deck, and got rid of it after finding out about the ROG Ally X. The Ally X is everything I was hoping the Deck would be, and then some. Especially since it has VRR, which the Deck lacked, as well as being able to play games from on Gamepass, buy games from other stores such as GOG Galaxy, the Xbox store, and the Epic store. The Ally X is the best handheld PC on the market in my opinion, and I can't wait for the next iteration to drop.
