guys ive a question. ive implemented cline with 3.5 sonnete. i know its caching to reduce costs but i changed 1 line in css (cached) it made changes, and then it sends another big request and like single line costs 0.04 cents. i received 40 000 tokens a minute error (api fail) but code changes were done already. so it changes code and then resends whole file? why send another request if changes are done?

Windsurf was great until they did something with to tokens, then Claude got dumb. It's unusable for me now I burned thruy allowance on a couple of problemsvtgstvdidny getvdolvrd.baskeed Gemini, got it done. Used g ever since.. which is astonishing because before 1206 for flashing was retsrded

From an experience,, it's wast of time to build any code editor on deepseek .. it's dum .. simple things can do .. but not complicated things .. and error fixing it stuck on a loop . Stay with sonnet

I think at the moment kodu is doing better with the full autonomous mode and the observer observing what the ai is doing well on and bad on and giving feedback based on it. crazy expensive tho but worth it if you make projects you earn money from.

Would love to see a tool that can summarize 3-hour YT videos that *DON'T* have a transcript (ex. JRE 2237). Or a good way to search what was said in a podcast. For example, ListenNotes, PodEngine, AudioScrape, Deepcast all say they can search podcasts, but perhaps the database is limited, because I'm looking for the No Agenda episode from 5 years ago where John Dvorak talks about fisting peanuts on in an airplane.

I love Cline. I prefer it to Cursor and Windsurf, it's probably a user issue, but those two messes with my code and get me frustrated. The issue with Cline is that it can get very expensive quickly. By the way, on Openrouter, you chose the old Sonnet 3.5, the improved one released in October has beta at the end of its name.

Stop using Claude and start using 'Qwen-2.5-coder-32b-instruct'. Claude repeats too much for me. Have had it repeat the same thing a dozen times despite specific instructions and still get it wrong. Goes through and changes and truncates important functions and forever recovering files from backups only for Claude to do the same thing again. Am sure this is programmatic and designed to waste tokens... Qwen does as good a job or better on Vanilla JavaScript and is 1% of the price of Claude. You'll find it really hard to use ten Dollars as literally even the largest tasks are just a few Cents. Provide Qwen with a good knowledge base and it excels!

The process to build it has changed from what is shown in the video, unfortunately. In any case, even following the updated guide in Void's GitHub, I couldn't get it to work. An alternative I found is to use Continue+Llama to get a code assistant in VS Code (all locally and for free--although I couldn't found same extensions in VS Codium). Matt Williams has a video called 'Writing Better Code with Ollama' where he explains how to set it up.
