I have tried both of them on a same project. There is a step cursor struggled to solve, just kept giving similar answers, and ended up not fixing it. Windsurf on the other hand analyzed my entire code base structure and finally solved it. To my honest opinion, Windsurf is better than cursor. Thanks!!!

I'm using these two ide.I like Windsurf's non-strenuous structure.I think it will come to a better level than Cursor.I will continue to test both ide.Windsurf is in 1st place in my preference order for now.

Windsurf gets so many things right were all the others seem to get so many things wrong. For me it's much less stress-free and much more enjoyable. It's answers are extremely well thought out and I love the options. It comes up with. Finally something that actually allows me to accomplish tasks that work.

have used cursor for 2 months, windsurf for the last week: cursor is still miles ahead with autocompletion, it seems to read my mind and know what i need, would love to pay the $10 for windsurf, but not until it catches up with autocomplete, the rest of it is great

100% agree with you about auto complete , cursor still miles ahead with that , with supermaven join i think cursor will be more dominate the play , people keep telling using windsurf better just because they are no code or low code newbie , exp dev like us use a lot tab and code with understand codebase not just asking it everytime , also for complicate functioning , neither cursor nor windsurf can solve advance task , so i still prefer cursor over windsurf

For me i chose curser and note i do have a premium with windsurf, I can't guarantee my project will be the same with windsurf, with curser i am about to finish my social media app with react native. I need to keep test windsurf more to make sure 100% if it's good or not.

Windsurf sh!ts all over Cursor. Enough said. Took me 2 hours to work that out. It's literally fixed 6 projects for me that Cursor (well, me) screwed up 😂.

Where did you place the PRD in Windsurf? I don't think Windsurf has the notepad feature. I also don't think it takes attachments.

I just want to say for windsurf it's probably the user not the tool The tool is amazing it can do way more than what you're showing I mean what you're showing is what it does but it does it super well You're awesome though either way really

windsurf is not capable to get last documentation well, i tried giving the repo of shadcn and it insist on show me the old commands, not updated. :/
