You're still so beautiful. And this shows you're beautiful inside as well. Of course back when you married George we all wanted to hate you but we were teenagers who never had a chance to even meet him😥😀. Then we grew to love you and respect you as well. Thanks for sharing this. Wishing you health and happiness 👍♥️

I don't understand the relevance of seeing Pattie and her chair spinning buddy just sat there looking bored when surely we need to SEE the subject here....ie...GLYN JOHNS. Could have been done so much better with a little more imagination and effort.

I think it's good to say be brave but I understand where a lot of these young people are coming from today because a lot of them really do know that the odds are stacked against them compared to when people like myself ... I'm now almost 66 or people like Patty (who will be 80 on March 17th ) were younger , it did not cost a lot to live and it did not cost a lot to eat and it did not cost a lot to simply exist . Times really are different now and not a simple .

She definitely doesn't comprehend how privileged she is from the start and how life is for most. It's a pity.
@gardensofthegods4 ай бұрын
Wow she looks really great here for 79 and on March 17th she'll be 80 years old . Incredible . I read her autobiography years ago and really enjoyed it except that as an American sometimes I did not always know exactly what some of the venues were where they would have dinner or go clubbing and had to look them up .

Imagine how it must feel to have inspired those beautiful songs! I remember hearing Derek & The Dominos (Eric Clapton) playing “Layla” at The Black Prince in Bexley around 1970 and loving it. It has remained an all time favourite.

In 1969, I was so taken with Twiggy’s fabu eye makeup. I was only 10 years old and I bought a Yardley Of London watercolor eye shadow palette. I still have it in my art box. As I got older Patti inspired me to take up photography. Marvelously creative and strong women!

I thought we were supposed to be respectful and not leave rude or insulting messages to others in our comments. Your message was not respectful, and perhaps hurtful, to that nice lady. Perhaps your comment was meant to be funny, but it really was not nice.

Shocking audio and camera work not as good as it should be! This interview is fabulous but totally spoiled because of it. Perhaps the producers aren't aware of just what an icon Pattie is! I feel for the interviewer, she must be more than a little disappointed!

So sad to realise how George and Eric treated Patti so badly. Have lost a lot of respect for those two men - especially George who grew up in a good happy home with a lot of love for his mum. So good at putting others down in his interviews, while he was treating someone in such a disgusting way.
@user-jz6pq4zx3e5 ай бұрын
George treated her badly? He had affairs. He treated her well. You talk as if she is an Angel and George as some kind of Taliban follower restricting her freedoms. Pattie was banging Ronnie Wood and other Men whilst still married to George. It's not like she respected sanctimony of Marriage. He was the best Man at her wedding with Eric. Hello. In fact George helped her out financially after her divorce with Eric.

@@annstewart9693yes it was really terrible the way George Harrison's second wife stopped those small payments to George's sister who really helped pave the way for the Beatles coming to America . It doesn't sound like his sister had much and was living in a trailer I don't think George wanted her to be treated this way . Hopefully she's in a better place now as I hear she passed away in the past year or two
@TreeFrogWillow6 ай бұрын
I have read her book . The truth is George was a constant cheater and towards the end he more or less ignored her . Eric was so desperate to be with her but when they finally did get together he ended up being horrible to her , was drunk or high half the time and also ended up cheating on her . I don’t know how she was able to get over the heartache . She doesn’t seem to be the least bit bitter .. I don’t know if the lifestyle and riches could ever make up for the emotional turmoil she endured .
@gardensofthegods4 ай бұрын
Yes I agree it was awful the way they both treated her and it made me so sad for her when I read her autobiography especially the way Eric Clapton pretty much kicked her out of the home with his brutality and then she had no real legal leg to stand on in court since she left . I know she did later get a small settlement . Yes very sad about the way she was treated since people said she was always very kind and thoughtful
