How do u attach ribbon
@DIYDion3 ай бұрын
I typically use a pipe cleaner twisted around the middle of the ribbon bundle and then attach to the wreath frame. Rarely I will glue the ribbons in the center of the bundle to the mesh. Thanks so much for watching.
@cherylwilson85714 ай бұрын
I am new..but I have seen people put the pipe cleaner in the bottom of the bow-dabra first then put the mesh/ ribbon on top it looks like it is easier?
@DIYDion4 ай бұрын
You can use a pipe cleaner, wire, zip tie, or other items. Bow dabra has a wire/string that I use in one video. I liked using that. I just typically don’t put something on the bottom. We all kinda find our favorite ways of doing things. I find I change up all the time. LOL Thanks so much for watching and commenting.

I do. I’ll add a link in another reply. I’m not sure links show up in comments so I’ll give you the name of the page. Dion Allen Designs. I haven’t focused much on social media but I want to get back in to posting on both sites. Just lost my mom to a 7 month battle with cancer and my dad went through it 4 years ago. He’s doing well so I think I may find some time to post more often.

You're using 10in mesh? Would 6in mesh give same look?
@DIYDion7 ай бұрын
Hi. On this video between 9 and 15 minutes I do the same method with 10’ and 5.5’ mesh. You can see the difference in the thumbnail. It’s less full and a bit smaller but still beautiful. You could use more bundles to make it fuller but it will still be a little smaller. If you use any of the other methods you would just need to increase the number of poofs or pull through to make it fuller. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Thanks. It's from Hobby Lobby. It's an art easel. The cheapest one they carry. They have a ledge on the bottom to hold the canvas but I leave it off. You can adjust the legs so you can work on a table or the floor. I put a pipe cleaner on the wreath frame and then loop it around the top. Thanks for watching.

This might be a stupid question, but if you want a smaller bow, you can just make the lengths shorter, right?

It is a hot mess!! People call the different types different things so it can be confusing. Ok, so which ring are you tying the pipe cleaner to and then you are able to just skip over the cross bars? Thank you! Its beautiful!
@DIYDion10 ай бұрын
The first pipe cleaner is attached to the inner ring at a cross bar, from under the frame. The last one is attached at the cross bar on the outer ring. If you have extra mesh and make an extra poof, you may attach the pipe cleaner on one of the middle rings at the cross bar. Yes, you can just skip the cross bars. Once you make two sets of three poofs, pulling through the inner, middle, and outer spaces, you skip the cross bar and go back down to the space between the inner and inner middle ring. I hope that helps. I think it will make more sense while watching. It's hard to visualize for me and I made it. LOL thanks for watching and let me know if you have more questions.
