Thanks! I try to make it a step by step so new crafters can enjoy crafting. I get lots of comments from new crafters, that started in 2020, because of lockdowns. That has to be balanced with not boring experienced crafters. I am loving this KZbin journey, the channel is just 4 months old. People like you that watch and comment keep me motivated. Thanks for being here in the community.

Love this I have several crosses but never have tried one

They are really easy so you may end up with a houseful of them. It's fun to do with different meshes.

Thanks for watching and commenting. This particular mesh came from Hobby Lobby. I just looked at their app and it's still there. It says, "Red & White Plaid Deco Mesh Ribbon". It was $11.99 but not on sale this week so you may want to wait until next week.

I love the speed you are using now

Thanks, Pam. I try to make sure people are getting something from the videos. I kinda think if I can speed really fast then does it really need to be in the video? Appreciate the feedback.

These videos are a great way to celebrate the Memorial Day holiday! I love the cross.

Thanks, Dawn. That's what I was thinking. After two days of filming I was thinking, do I need to do two more. LOL It made me think for that last wreath. I do have a fireworks idea but I thought that would be better for 4th of July.

🌺🌷🌻This is very cute! I believe myself to be crafty I even have diy and craft videos on my channel but I’ve never made a wreath!! I’ve always wanted to. I just find them intimidating to make for some reason. I’m watching a bunch of videos trying to learn techniques. You make this look so easy. Thanks for the inspiration to try again. I love learning from talented creators like you!! 🌼🌸🌺

Thanks so much for the kind words. I'm so glad toy feel inspired to give it a try. I know you can do it. Just break it down to each step and go at your own pace. They usually look pretty rough until the end, then final fluffing and embellishments and voila... Beautiful.

If you use a wood burner it cuts the poly burlap very easy and keeps from fraying, oh and the petal is a daisy petal I think Julie wreath boutique does it lots
@DIYDion3 жыл бұрын
Debbie, Thanks for the info. I really need to take the time to focus and learn the petals. I did try wood burning a couple of times. I think a few more times and I may be sold on it. Thanks so much for watching and commenting.

Dion you’ve outdone yourself again!! I am a lover of all things “cross.” I love the cross you’ve made with the poly mesh. I can’t wait to play around with the cross wreath frame using the petal method. I hope you’re having. A good Memorial Day weekend. Again, thank you for this beautiful tutorial. Happy days!!

What do you mean aiming up
@DIYDion3 жыл бұрын
Hey Pam. When you fold over the 2 inches make sure the new edge is pointing up. I zoomed in to try to show it. Hopefully that makes sense.

How many mesh squares did you use?

Good question. 3 on the short cross bars and 7 on the long one. Total of 16. Thanks so much for watching.

nice of you to keep this on your website for sale.. I ordered it and it was gone now my payment has screwed up my bank account get real and update your shit

I apologized several times. I called the phone number you listed and I couldn't tell if it was actually your voicemail. I left a message the second time I called. Sent an email and received an auto reply email saying you were unavailable and wouldn't get your message until January 2023. Again, I am very sorry that happened. I don't understand people being ugly over simple mistakes. I gave the wreath to my 82 year old aunt, who fell in love with it at a family reunion and forgot to update my website. If you emailed or called me I was going to offer to make another wreath and honor the clearance price and free shipping. Don't think I will any longer. This mistake did make me realize I need to focus on keeping the website updated.
