POV: its Friday night and you're at your grandparents for the weekend, Cartoon Network has just switched to Adult Swim and it'll be a couple of hours before Disney Channel starts new episodes or they just ended for the week, so you flop down on the bed and this is what you see. You settle in for cartoon goodness. Years later, you're an adult and out of the blue, the image of the ramp walkers playing out in one of the bedrooms on your grandparents' old school TV as the smell of a homecooked Southern meal from the kitchen waifts into the room hits you with no warning and a pang of nostalgia hits you unlike anything you've ever felt before. It's likely brought you here. Time is precious, enjoy every moment while you can, because one day, everyone and everything you took for granted or loved will be gone.

There's probably a good amount of people that think Boomerang is called that not because it's a channel that brings back cartoons from the past similar to how a Boomerang flies out and comes back, but because since most of the shows were what Baby Boomers grew up with, then the name of the channel is some pun on the term "Boomer".
