I'm only 15 but I enjoyed Boomerang THOROUGHLY as a small child. Teen Titans, (the original, not the bootleg "GO" crap they have out now) Yogi Bear, The Jetsons, The Flintstones, Scooby Doo, Johnny Test, Johnny Bravo, Looney Tunes, Tom and Jerry, ALL that stuff (the fun commercials included). Life is not the same. I wish life could be simple again :(

Boomerang basically was cartoon network from the 60s to early 2000s. Used to love these shorts, mostly cuz they replaced commercials and went right back to the show. Now it's just another cartoon network with the same new crap, the remakes, and commercials.

Boomerang was like comfort food television. It was always good, and always there. Then they went, and re-branded it. I know the channel need an upgrade. Having used the same basic look since it's launch, but I'm not sure the re-brand they went with was the way to do it. The channel has lost most of what made it special, and unique. The variety is pitiful, and the constant two hour blocks of Tom and Jerry, and Looney Tunes is ridiculous, but they probably put all their focus on the app anyways, so i'm not shocked.

Even as a kid I thought it was so weird and cool that the song they wrote for this was so mysterious, almost dark, as opposed to something more “upbeat”, for a cartoon channel. And the wind up toys was and still is such a cool, interesting touch. It would be interesting to find out why they did it this way, but I doubt we will ever will…

Bruh I remember all of these back in the early 2000s during my childhood! I miss those days when they had these and other old school clips and shows! It’s a shame that they’re take down and they’re basically doing Cartoon Network shows now, instead of being its own channel with all those nostalgic cartoons! The only ones that are alive are “Tom & Jerry” and “Looney Tunes”. I mean those two are cool to watch, but I miss seeing “The Flintstones”, “Wacky Races”, “The Jetsons”, etc.
