I believe you also think deeply about things. I hope you know how much you're helping others breakdown these songs and how much enjoyment comes from listening to your reactions. Taking the time to share your thoughts with us and for being vulnerable with us.

Thank you because you really do such an intelligent job of listening and following the various threads and picking up on the words and the emotions in each of these songs and I just love how you break them down. It's amazing to me because you've never heard red album before holy Moses I remember being at the red stadium tour! So fun to see someone experience it for the first time and do it so thoughtfully. Thank you. Well part one went by pretty fast and I really wish you had gone on, but I'll be back to listen to part two. Oh, and Bobby on the boardwalk in 45 that's Bobby Kennedy. anyway it's good. You don't know these back stories, etc. of what she's alluding to because it's nice to hear the fresh reaction as you first experience the song.

Damn for 21 you are really analyzing the heck out of these songs and picking up more from them than I ever have 😅

I love the fact that in the first verse of Holy Ground, it is all perfect rhymes, like how she mentioned, how good it was, etc. and then in the second verse, they were all near rhymes, which is showing how bad it got. I think it is so clever.

Ed Sheeran and Taylor are besties, they wrote everything has changed on a trampoline after they met and their friendship is very special to both of them. If you watch the music video to everything has changed and then watch Ed’s song the Joker and the queen and watch his video it is a continuation of this song with the two child actors in both videos! I think everything has changed once Ed and Taylor met cause they just knew they they met their forever friend! I went to the red tour and he opened for Taylor and at that time his career was just starting and I thought to myself this kid is going to be huge! Both great artists!

NeeCee... please please please. Watch the short film, All Too Well. She won a Grammy for it. And listen to the 10 minute version of the song. It was always meant to be the full 10 minutes, because there are so many more feelings and memories conveyed in the 10 minute version that are omitted in the shorter version. And yes, the scarf is symbolic for something that was sacred to her that she gave to him. That's why it hurt so much.

I think Stay isn't her settling, it's her at 21 being dramatic, and big in a relationship and also having been used to people walking away, ghosting or matching her drama but in this song, she's fantasizing about someone who will not just see all of her messiness but will also love her - not in spite of but because that messiness is part of her. She is a little toxic, but she also doesn't know how to not be. He is someone who will stay and can perhaps see the humour in it all. Starlight is the story of Robert and Ethel Kennedy; she wrote it for Ethel when she was dating her grandson Connor Kennedy. She used to visit the Kennedy compound, and Ethel shared the story about her first date with Bobby which inspired the story of starlight. @neeceexx

I didn't know that people were going crazy about that line in the "I hate it here" and I'm kinda chocked. As a white woman and all the privileges I know I have for being white I feel Taylor. I hate racists and that's one of the worst things about the past, everything we did to you is just...... I don't even have the words to say how sorry I am. But yeah, I think Taylor is a really inclusive person and fights all kinds of discrimination and that's just what she was trying to say, I think.

Also all to well is connected to the manuscript where taylor is reflecting more on what happened other than just in all to well.

I think Astronomy hits so hard because it's a fear everyone shares. Everyone is scared that somehow their closest friendships won't last, and someday the person you shared your life with is just a stranger.

this album is her favourite child. can you imagine how Red album always prepares her for something bigger. after Red, 1989 came. After Red (taylor's version), Midnights came.

yes she was 21-22 when she wrote the album. everything she does she does with purpose so 22 lines up perfectly, you’ll get it when you hear the vault tracks. Never ever getting back together is another example- while it was a jam i didn’t feel it wasn’t a great representation of her song writing skills but then i heard she made it over the top bubble gum pop bc her ex hated that music and then he had to hear this everywhere. now it makes me smile bc i love her pettiness 😂
