I actually enjoyed the flight. The sandwich we got inthemiddle of the flight was turkey and cheese and was really good. Worst part of the flight for me was by 3pm they wanted all shades closed. I paid extra for my window seat and couldn't look out much. I did sneak a few shots over Alaska. Also trying to get in the bathroom was a nightmare. People kept it full.

Did Delta do hot towels in coach? American did them right after takeoff for the whole plane from DFW-HND. I was impressed.

Nice trip report thank you. The JL PE product is relatively good compared to others on the market, although a number of PE cabins are better (Air NZ, Emirates, Qantas, Eva and China Airlines). I'm surprised about the crumbs left near the seats though. Japanese are all about cleanliness. I think the main issue with this product is less about comparability to other PE cabins and more about value for money. You pay so much more for what you get on other airlines for a much cheaper price, even though it is relatively good. Thanks again for the short trip report. You were flying on a 777-300ER by the way, not a 787-9. Need to change the title.

3:28 also found on All Nippon Airways although you do need Royal Orchid Plus🇹🇭 Krisflyer🇸🇬 Mileage Plus🇺🇲 Aeroplan🇨🇦 Mileage Club🇯🇵 Asiana Club🇰🇷 Infintymileage 🇹🇼 Phoenix Miles🇨🇳 Star Alliance. Since JL is Oneworld Alliance US based members can use AA/AS🇺🇲 for this flight. Excellent report and looking at the passengers you should be able to see Filipinos on JL1/2 HND-SFO. Their ticket is SFO-MNL via HND JL1/2 to JL77/78. Which itself is actually better than the non-stop PR105/115.

Totally agree. I flew HND-JFK in March '24 in Premium Economy & it was mediocre in every respect. 5 out of 10 is generous!

Stayed here last week. Toto toilet but manual lid and seat. Takes ages to leave the hotel as one needs to go up to the lobby, walk across to the other side and take another lift down. I would say 11-15 minutes from room to the metro station platform. Not much in the local area apart from a combi in the station. Check-in process done standing in the lobby. Was not escorted to my room. No hot towel or welcome drink offered. There were welcome snacks in the room plus a small bottle of sake. Free water provided but the bottles had a snap cap so could not take away. The Executive Lounge was a nice place but only served afternoon tea and evenings drinks. Included breakfast is in the main restaurant. Decent selection of food at the buffet. I especially liked the matcha latte and chai latte they made. The "master" light switch turned all the lights off apart from one Every night I forgot and had to get out of bed to turn it off. Turndown service offered and slippers placed by the bed. Room has USB plugs. Beautiful proper tea set in room. Automatic curtains and blinds. Slow internet.

I am flying BOS-NRT next month in JAL Premium Economy for 50,000 AA miles next month; this video convinces me that it is worth an additional 15,000 points over a 14 hour flight!

Thanks for the video! I booked this flight but have never flown in a seat that I didn't have under-seat storage. Is it worth it to give up to be able to move around freely? I am thinking about my laptop and other time burners in my personal item I can access. Thanks again!

Thanks for the comment! Personally, for a 14 hour flight, I would book this over and over again. I stored my stuff above and didnt have a problem (I also have a mini bag for small items - phone, airpods, etc. that was helpful). Having the ability to walk / get up multiple times was sooo worth it, I think I got up like 6 times for bathroom breaks, walking around, raiding the snack station, etc.

It did and will say it is spotty, don't expect to be able to watch tiktok or instagram reels seamlessly, it'll lag. But good enough to check email or surf the web. if you or can get someone who has a t-mobile number its free. If not, then you have to pay a fee.

Planning on a Tokyo trip this October. Seeing this video helped me in making a decision in not to fly Delta because of the food. It's the 2nd video I've watched in the past 10mins that mentioned the same issue. The food isn't appealing at all. Thank you for sharing.

Hi was the 60,000 miles round trip per person in main cabin or basic economy? Awesome video! I am planning my trip to Japan debating to fly Delta as well as sitting in the exit seats.
@lamishvlog7397 Жыл бұрын
Tyty, it was Main Cabin, we did end up paying extra for the one exit row window seat around $129 but def worth it since could get up whenever we wanted.

Hi, the cabin of the A350 seems very silent compared to other Airbus aircrafts and compared to the Boeing 777, can you confirm ? thanks
