Nice trip report thank you. The JL PE product is relatively good compared to others on the market, although a number of PE cabins are better (Air NZ, Emirates, Qantas, Eva and China Airlines). I'm surprised about the crumbs left near the seats though. Japanese are all about cleanliness. I think the main issue with this product is less about comparability to other PE cabins and more about value for money. You pay so much more for what you get on other airlines for a much cheaper price, even though it is relatively good. Thanks again for the short trip report. You were flying on a 777-300ER by the way, not a 787-9. Need to change the title.

I am flying BOS-NRT next month in JAL Premium Economy for 50,000 AA miles next month; this video convinces me that it is worth an additional 15,000 points over a 14 hour flight!

Totally agree. I flew HND-JFK in March '24 in Premium Economy & it was mediocre in every respect. 5 out of 10 is generous!

3:28 also found on All Nippon Airways although you do need Royal Orchid Plus🇹🇭 Krisflyer🇸🇬 Mileage Plus🇺🇲 Aeroplan🇨🇦 Mileage Club🇯🇵 Asiana Club🇰🇷 Infintymileage 🇹🇼 Phoenix Miles🇨🇳 Star Alliance. Since JL is Oneworld Alliance US based members can use AA/AS🇺🇲 for this flight. Excellent report and looking at the passengers you should be able to see Filipinos on JL1/2 HND-SFO. Their ticket is SFO-MNL via HND JL1/2 to JL77/78. Which itself is actually better than the non-stop PR105/115.
