It has a thundermax…. Yes I had to tune it… I set a base map to get going then I let it auto learn for a while, then I put it on a dyno and made other adjustments there then let it auto learn more… then about once a month I would save the auto learn it’s forever learning lol

I have a completely off subject question. Did you make a video on making hot sauce? On subject the bike sounds amazing. Looking to make a change on my 2012 ultra classic so I'm researching and you definitely sound like my go to video for making hot sauce guy. Regardless if your not the bike videos are good and helpful. Keep it up.

Lol… no I am not your hot sauce guy…. Although I did actually make for the first time last summer my own home made hot sauce… I did not document it… lol…. I actually gave out samples and brought some to work and the people that had it surprisingly loved it…. Anyway thank you and good luck with your build

Great video. Got a question....I'm in the process of tearing my '19 Road glide down for a big bore and those oil lines are killing me. I got the clamps off no problem but can't get the rubber hose to slide off the metal oil line fitting. How did you get yours to slide off the fittings without destroying the rubber hose ? Thanks
@drtub92
@drtub92 2 жыл бұрын
Seeing as how I did this going on 3 years ago and haven’t really screwed with it since…. I don’t 100% remember but if I was to do it again now I would probably use Chanel locks , grabbing the hose and twisting it till it broke loose from the metal fittings, then pop it off… I know I make it sound like 2 seconds and poof it’s off… just gotta play with it a little and work it back and forth gently. Or you can also use a 90* pick get it under the hose between the hose and the tube, slide it around the inside of the hose as far as you can to break the seal being careful not to puncture the hose

wanna do something really special to the bike...throw in a SE 259 or 57H cams, 110 ported heads and high flow injectors w/an S&S cam plate/TC3 oil pump, 58mm throttle body, n a big TUNE...then you'll get something to scream about outta those exhausts!

You definitely shouldn’t lug it like that going slow in a high gear. That’s harder on the engine than revvin it high. Everything gets beat around in there, trans and primary too, when your lugging it.

Good job doing it yourself, after hours of research I also went with woods 22x cam and fuel motos 2in1 road&track full system, remapped with dyno jet power vision on my 18 FLTRX very happy with the results as this really woke up the M8, dynoed at 95 HP and 105 ft/lb torque on EC997a Eddy Dynamometer which gives true numbers of power to the pavement, not this inflated bullshit coming off the crank.
