How far down the wisconsin are you? Im in wausau, allegedly they are hete. ive been using really big rockbass, crappie, and bluegill as bait. Ive gotten 3 muskies, 2 on massive rockbass, and 1 on a reasonably decent size crappie. Nothing on bluegills, and no cats. The muskies were 48, 43, and 32. I cant complain about 3 nice muskies in 2 days, but i really want to catch my first cat.

I recommend pulling the fish under or loosen the drag because they jump and shake their head and you can lose ‘em. Nice catch btw 🎉🎉

Not super obvious but it is a fly rod so you got hand break for a drag lol absolutely keep pressure down if possible but when you gotta change direction and keep pressure you usually gotta go up for that transition.
