Fly Fishing for Wisconsin River Muskies - Shoreline Anglers Season 1: More than the Catch

Yellooooo fellow fishing folk. I've been out on the shoreline this past week walking and wading while throwing a big ole fly for the mighty muskellunge. With the recent heavy rains and super high water, It took some exploring through many different bodies of water to find some active fish but proved most definitely worth it. Thank ya sir! And yeah man it’s really tough with all the obstacles in the water and behind you when ya cast. Seems silly at times but it’s very worth it once a fish is landed.

The first day I was out I missed a really nice one on my 2nd or 3rd cast of the morning. Wasn’t ready for her at all, then nothing for a few days. Without that first fish I don’t know if I woulda kept on with the fly rod. But that one fish gave me confidence in that glider so I gave er heck. Thanks for watching dude good luck this season.
