I've been watching an unhealthy amount of DO2 content for the past week (I wasn't able to keep up to date while it was live) and your perspective and playstyle is so easily my favourite! If you have time to answer, do you know if the rest of your runs are still available to watch anywhere? Either way, tysm for uploading the compilations that you have -- your curiosity and enthusiasm for the game is beyond infectious :3

I want someone to go through this VOD and pick out every time you have a problem, and then an "ah ha!" moment, and put them all together for those of us just learning redstone.

I don't know much about Gamer's outreach but when I was ten years old I was once hospitalized for three days. The bright point of my time in the hospital was when I was able to play with an NES on a gaming cart. This was in the mid nineties so NES was the main gaming system at the time. I definitely applaud a charity that provides that sort of care for kids. So many people focus on the physical needs of those in the hospital but the emotional needs being met actually helps healing as well. Kudos to you guys for helping raise money for such a worthy cause.

That was a fun watch. Did you two take it slow with playing Stardew, or did the other VODs not make it to youtube? Would love to see more.

this is super cool! reminds me of the game mastermind, though much more hi-tech. I feel like i somehow learned from watching this, despite not knowing a dropper from a dispenser usually.

You guys have so many cute moments together in this stream <3. And each time Karn comes to your studio/office while you're live.. It's clear you have found each other. I hope there comes a day you find Karn on one knee. You both are amazing and deserve each other, so much(!).

When it comes to finding solution to small problems, there's some simple ways to make things easier. First up (and that's something that comes over time) it's important to understand how signals travel. Like redstone dust powering blocks weak, so you couldn't go through a block with redstone dust at both ends, however replacing one with a repeater works. Signals can travel up a slab or transparent block, but not down, things like that. Secondly for smaller subfunctions there's usually like four perfectly fine contraptions redstoners learnd and we've since then forgotten at least two, which makes the choice pretty easy.

I know a few things about redstone, so this is quite the fascinating stream for me. First up making Wordle in Minecraft is not an easy task and you not only did it, but also with a very good balance between the things you automated and those you chose to do manually. It's amazing how quickly you picked up on different mechanics and everything. Still with some of the usually easier stuff like emptying a dropper it showed that you're still finding your way. Then again for that stuff I just take the same circuit all the time and these things not that easy to discover for yourself. Overall the pace at which you learn is incredible and I doubt there's many people who went this fast from the basics into the advanced mechanics, myself included.

Rewatching and the amount of times Pearl asks "was I low on health?" after getting booped while having double-digit berries in her hands is hilarious. Absolutely loved how you played DO2 and your attitude towards winning and losing.

Why does Mastermind keep being mentioned? Not even a similar game.....Mastermind is answering rapid fire general knowledge questions and questions on the contestants chosen field of knowledge......the game you have made is more like countdown or wheel of fortune

There is a classic board game called mastermind by pressman. It is a code maker vs code breaker style game
@StrawberryGS18 күн бұрын
I think there might be two different games called Mastermind, then. I've never heard of the general knowledge questions version to which you referred. The version I know of is quite similar to Wordle, but with colored pegs. Interesting to know there's another version out there.
@purple-cho10 күн бұрын
The "rapid fire general knowledge/specialist subject" Mastermind is a TV show, originating here in the UK in 1972 with some international versions of... varying success. The colourful pegs one is a board game, invented in 1970/released in 1971-72 as "Master Mind" but also very commonly written as Mastermind. As far as I can tell, neither one borrowed its name from the other!

I know you probably figured it out and even have built this on the Hermitcraft server alreday, but about the reset system... If you want the items from the crafter to go back into the dropper, why not put the crafter facing into the dropper and then the reset button only has to activate a clock which sends 6 pulses to the crafter? :)

@magpiesign47482 ай бұрын
If i remember correctly the full saying is "a jack of all trades Is a master of none, but often times is better than a master of one" which is a bit more pearl but i do agree that the saying is a bit lacking as pearl is definitely a master builder. But yknow, the original saying is a bit nicer than the bastardisation of the more common one
