This is my first time watching a Hermitcraft TCG tournament and it was honestly so fun to watch! I was never into card games like this but something about this was really enjoyable.

I'm not exactly a huge fan of this tournament style where you only get one shot to win. A better tourney bracket rule set would be: _Best of 3_ _Loser gets sent into separate bracket_ _Top loser has to defeat top winner twice to take the tournament_ This style ensures that you can come back from an unlucky game.

Unfortunately, I think if Beef did that, it may go on for too long. In the world of content creation, time is a concern 😟 Many tournaments are like this, and I understand Ren's loss all too well, but it is what it is sadly I will most likely go out the same way at a later bracket. 😂

It's cool to see Pearl who was probably the Underdog win but at the same time kind of sad that Rendog didn't get Hermits for a longer and more fun match, oh well that's just how these games go sometimes, I don't even know who I want to see win the Tournament because got too many favorite Hermits but it would be cool to see an Underdog beat the Players like Jevin who have played 100s of games that's always fun to root for

the composter has been used fairly inconsistently. if we look at the flint and steel card it can draw 3 for free better than the fishing rod. so the composter should maybe do a 1 to 1 regardless of the amount of cards maybe?

The flint and steel is only 'free' if you don't have any cards in your hand. You need to burn cards to draw some. The fishing rod is better in the sense that no trade is required. A choice of discarding up to 1 or 2 cards for the composter could be interesting, but how it is now isn't particularly bad for the card rarity

That was a risk for Ren that did not fair well since most people play leads and it's a way to combat that so I understand how Ren played.

Combatting the RNG is just as big as playing the card strategy at times. Many of my games have been lost to the woes of RNG 😅

I'm not sure where in the video you're referring to, but potentially the same place the other commenter was mentioning about around the 6 minute mark. In such a case, Tango has an ability on his big attack that he must switch out after the attack is made if there is another Hermit on the board. You choose which hermit to switch to, but because I only had Doc on the board, I only had one option. That is part of the attack. There were no mistakes made in this game.

Tango's Extra Flee attack forces a switch

Tango's special ability 'extra flee' allows the user to execute the attack and switch to an Afk hermit, thats what pearlo did
