Great video, I thought my alternator was not charging would stay around 12 had to restart the car 3 times before the voltage would go around 14! guess it saw batterie had gone down from me starting the car 3 times in a row before it considered turning up the demand on the alternator. When you test the ohms you want a reading. No reading or OL means irs bad

Oz I thought if the knock sensor read nothing that it is bad I thought It should be around 100-105 ohms????

Dude…fuck I’ve been looking and looking for a draw in power from my car and I seen this and checked and my has water but the 40amp fuse is busted..the relays are good..so the corner of my cover is broken right where the 40 amp is I am hoping the water just got on there and popped it..going to get a new one tomorrow

Hi I'm sorry for the question I'm trying to figure out if this is my problem have changed so many parts, did you feel like car had no power or will not really accelerate with rough idle? Feel like I have no lower rpm torque like before that had been getting worse with time. Plus towards the end when you explain that it will catch it feels like that ill be driving and rpm gets stuck like if I had cruise control on but at like 20 mph I then flip the gas pedal and it gets unstuck.

The ones that know what they are doing won't hit it that hard it don't take much. Sounded like it would die in a few on its own.... I assume that trick will work for most makes.... Thank you for the tip.i will be trying it on my 1999 astro. Tomorrow.

I found this video refreshing. Finally a real mechanic. The dealerships have trained techs. They only learn from books without much hands on. Good mechanics cross train on everything and need to know how to read the engine and vehicle systems. Dealership techs just roll parts onto the car until it runs correctly again. This man knows his stuff and I’m so glad to see someone like him out there. Question for him though. Do you or have you gone to the smaller hole rockers that Chrysler updated for these engines? They did this to help remedy the rocker from rolling out of position when the lifter collapses or breaks an internal spring. Lots of times when the rockers rolls out the lifter does also and can wreak havoc with the valve train.

If I was a mechanic, I would have checked all the doors and the tail gate hatch back to make sure that was the only door that needed a new switch.
