In defending the agent a little, the customer lied when he said he would read it better and then call back. Then when the agent called him out, the customer admitted that he had no intention to proceed with the sale. If the customer had been upfront, he probably would not have received this response from the agent. Sure the agent would have been pissed and would have probably tried to lead him back to a sale. But the customer could have abruptly ended the call. The agent did not respond in a professional way but it gave me a good laugh.
