Did you get the update? They released it today man. I was upset when I noticed the latency in a bass guitar while playing the bass and or guitar it creates latency with the spectral stuff. I haven't tried it yet but in Mac they said the update fixes the latency issue BUT I have windows so I am not sure BUT I am bout to fire up the system.

@@kinghandlee Did you get the update though? One of your issues sounds like something they addressed in the update is what I am trying to say. You showed a ton of latency when you activated the Spectral feature. It says if you have a mac... Thats why I said something. I don't. My issue is different. I don't think they can fix that I just can't use it while tracking guitars or vocals.

Your comparison between similar plugins was majorly flawed… you only used 2 bands in pro q while you were suppressing the whole freq spectrum on the others. I understand some dont provide that functionality but this shouldve been mentioned.
@kinghandleeКүн бұрын
You think so because you can't hear the major difference between them.
@DxtzipКүн бұрын
@@kinghandleelol yes in fact i can hear the difference. And i do agree with you pro q seemed to sound better. But your comparison was still flawed. Waves equator was suppressing the whole freq spectrum. You only used one band in smooth operator and Equalizer doesnt give you the band options. Shouldve compared with soothe 2 where you have multiple bands available and as these 2 plugins have been the most compared EVEN if they arent doing the same thing.
@kinghandleeКүн бұрын
@Dxtzip You didn't understand what I mean. What I said is that other auto EQs can cause dynamic change But q4 doesn't. It has nothing to do with how many bands being processed.
@nilespeshay17342 күн бұрын
re: latency... per Colt Caperune, once you turn on the spectral eq switch, Pro-Q internally processes +that particular filter+ in linear phase. Big CPU/latency bump.

Protools is so much smoother faster has freeze & its sound engine sounds magical. İ got mix bus 10 now on sale. Too laggy i havnt used any additional plugins vu metres a laggy unusable on a m1 max 64 ram 4tb. it does have its own sound signature but yeh, protools has come a long way in the past year or so, well done avid. You can really push its volume limit without loosing the low end as shown here.
Very interesting, still not sure whether to upgrade (£50 is pretty decent). I have been using Spec craft for similar stuff and really like it.

The comments are about equally split in half. Wild. $250 is just too much for a clipper. You can get K-clip, Standard clip (with better over sampling) AND BX Clipper for about half the price of Gold Clip. If you can’t get the job done with those three, gold clip Isn’t going to save you.

The send sounds "cleaner" BUT you cant really get that "washed out" indie vocal with a send. Ive written quite a few songs that i needed the vocal to feel more "distant" and had a lot of trouble achieving this with using a send track. If youre going for presence, you cant go wrong with the send.
